We stay here every Christmas where we are close to family to drive too. It has always been a nice get away for us for the couple of nights and will continue to do so as long as our kids live in Guelph.

Came for a quick family visit. Enjoyed the hotel immensely: clean, comfortable, and convenient to shops and dining, and close to U of G beautiful campus. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We were attended a family wedding. We were upgraded to a king suite which was great and the restaurant and coffee shop were very courteous and cheerful with our large fluid group.

Extremely mediocre stay for the price. No pool, no option to pay for room service. Mid-sized room w awkward/cramped bathroom design. Toilet/shower located inside separate water closet w sink located outside of pocket door. Pointless as no one can use the toilet when someone else is showering- sink alone is not much use to anyone in a shared room situation. Further, the bathroom pocket door is difficult to open/close (particularly for seniors/young children) and didn’t close all the way to lock- leaving a large gap of visibility and rendering the separate sink area further useless. In addition, there is a large mirror located directly across from the sink area, in the main room- meaning no one can use the area to get changed as there is no door for privacy…. the only area left to change in privacy is inside the incredibly cramped toilet/shower area- makes no sense for a double occupancy room. The furniture was dingy/worn (large scratches on the desk etc) and the room had a very old and incredibly noisy air conditioner that wakes you up each time it cycles on throughout the night. The entry door had large gaps between the frame and the door, letting in so much light and sound from the hallway that it was difficult to sleep. Could also hear conservation and guitar playing from a nearby room- just inferior soundproofing overall. Room also had fruit flies. The only positive was that the bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. And the staff were kind and courteous.
