Sandman Signature St. John's Hotel

The king suite was perfect for our family getaway. 2 adults and a toddler. Convenient with restaurants on site. Enjoyed the pool and whirlpool. Highly recommend.

Great stay however we came here as a family to use the pool and gym services here and both were closed this morning for up to 3 days. Feels like a waste of money now

There was a semen stain on the curtains..front desk was very unsympathetic to it. We didn't notice it until after we had put out child to sleep..should have never happened in the first place if the room was properly cleaned. Toilet barely worked. Called front desk and they said it was a known issue and told me how to make it work...I didn't pay 187$ for a half functioning bathroom and a disgusting room. Standards have definitely went down at this hotel. Had room service from Denny's that wasn't edible. Everything burned up and hard to chew. Will not be back.

Normally this is our favourite hotel. However this time no VIP benefits were offered and the pool was closed for the weekend and we weren’t notified. The kids were very disappointed. It felt like an average hotel stay.

Convenient location with attached restaurants. Very noisy with unattended children running in hallways until 2 a.m. some nights on several floors.

Booked the weekend to stay with my child. I still can’t find the post that mentions swimming pool closed until January?. This was the main reason why I booked this hotel. Our bathroom could have been a lot cleaner than it was!!

We were more than disappointed with our stay at the Sandman. We had the suite with a kitchen and pull out bed. Our 2 year old was so excited to go swimming but upon arrival we were told the pool was closed. That evening when we went to pull out the couch it was bolted down so we were unable to use as a bed. It was a family outing , myself my husband, our two year old and 4 month old. It was disappointing my daughter didn’t have her own bed as shown in the photo. Dennys for breakfast wouldn't deliver even though it’s in the hotel after complaining that we had two small kids they did bring it up but it was cold. I did complain to the front desk about our experience but she wasn’t very friendly or helpful. Wanted my money back for such an awful experience but they did nothing. Will not be returning.

It was a nice hotel, 2 onsite restaurants were very convenient. It also had a suite which suited our needs ( with a toddler) very nicely. Thanks!

Clean room excellent house keeping staff. The pool was not available which was a disappointment when travelling with children did not know until after check in.
