Key card system was not working took hours for anyone who checked in to get keys to their room. You had to wait for housekeeping to come let you into your room. Could have been anyone wanting to get into a room as they did not verify you were in that room. They charged me twice for my room no clue how long before that is fixed a refunded to me. I rented a room in this hotel specifically because they had a pool. There was not a moment that the pool was not filled to capacity with children. They close the pool at 11pm and even up until that time you did not have an opportunity to have a relaxing swim. They really need to have dedicated hours for adults only.

Walls were paper thin. There was a party in the room next to us for most of the night. I called the front desk multiple times and no one answered. My kids also found a couple of old toys in the room that were left there from the last check out. Nice building, but disappointing stay.

We had a lovely welcome to the hotel, the staff were wonderful. When entering the room I was very pleased with the esthetic. Beds were comfortable. The lighting in our room was very poor, actually had difficulty seeing the clothes in my suitcase because of it. Our room had one little window in the corner so the natural light was very little. Small bathroom for a family of 4 getting ready in the morning and also the ventilation fan was very loud and obnoxious, especially at 4am when all you want is a quiet place to sleep. Overall it was a nice place to stay but wouldn’t recommend with kids.

We stayed last night, and if i didnt pay in advance, i would've left..our first room had a terrible smell of body odor. It was awful. The front desk agent was lovely ( although 6 calls to front desk went unanswered, and i saw him ignoring other calls while playing with his phone) he moved us to another room. Upon first inspection it was fine. Didnt smell, looked clean enough. When i went for a ahower after our super tired kid was asleep, i noticed the garbage bin was on top of the toilet, and dirty towel under the vanity. The area where the fridge was, had a dirty housekeeping rag, and the coffee/tea area was not stocked/cleaned. I was pretty disappointed, because ive sent many of my clients to this hotel over the last year visiting from BC.

Two night we stayed at this property and the staff do not speak English. They take forever to do anything. Check in is painful. Asked multiple times to get a cot for our child and never received one. This is always our go to hotel in St. John’s but I think this was our last stay.

Restaurant was good. Stayed at the Hilton with my daughter and her 14 month old baby. The room never got cleaned, garbage cans were overflowing and I had to ask for fresh towels twice. I had requested a crib and called the day before we were to arrive to reconfirm the room and the crib and was told all is ready for your arrival. When we arrived, the crib was NOT in the room and had to request one AGAIN. My next stay in St. John's, NL will be elsewhere.

Hotel was nice but with the rooms being so expensive I certaintly felt breakfast should have been included. I stayed with my 2 kids and we struggled places to find breakfasts for them. It was disappointing and would make me reconsider staying there again for that reason.

We love the hotel but check in was difficult. We paid for our room on Expedia using visa debit but when we got there we needed a credit card to have on file. We don’t use credit cards so I offered to give cash or use debit. Wasn’t a problem anywhere else we have stayed to do this but they had no options other then credit card. Had to get family to put their card on file or we would have been turned away. We had just driven 5 hours and the whole process took an hour. Just wish they had other options for people who don’t use credit cards.
