3 adult family members sharing the Rocky Harbour charm. 3 days/nights we were comfortable and enjoyed walking through town to meals. Even watched 2 playoff hockey games. Great for us Come-from-aways! And toured Gros Morne

Everything was organized from the location of the check-in to the actual property and check-out time. It’s quiet, clean, cozy and complete with all the amenities as listed and parking is right in front. The area has grocery stores and nice family restaurants. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The cabins were very clean and well appointed. The cleaning staff were really friendly. We loved the location, with the cabins nestled in the trees and backing onto the Brook. We appreciated that everything we needed was within walking distance. It did get a bit noisy when kids were in the attached cabin as the sound travels through the floorboards, but, to be fair they are small spaces to be in with kids when it's raining. This resolved itself once the rain stopped. The only thing we felt we were lacking were fans for the bedrooms but not so much that we thought of asking if they were available. I will be back to stay in these cabins in the next couple of years, for sure. Thank you for a great stay!

We stayed at a 2 bedroom condo out by the cemetary with a beautiful view over the ocean. Although a bit dated, the condo was very clean and well appointed with a full kitchen and everything needed to prepare family meals. We did not try the barbeque. Other guests stayed in this 4 unit building at the same time and the noise was not bothersome to us, however we were on the second (top) floor and the other guests were not party people. Downtown Rocky Harbour was 1-2 minutes by car. This building is a good option if you want a larger place with a kitchen. Just remember to get groceries in Deer Lake because Rocky Harbour doesn't have a grocery store (just a general store with beer, chips, etc.)

We were in Unit 8 We have travelled all over the world and the Gros Morne Suites are no doubt the worst place we have ever tried to get a night's sleep. How is this possible? Well first of all these units are so poorly built that the concept of noise insulation / sound separation is a fleeting dream. Unit 8 is a lower unit. The people above us kept us awake 2 nights running just walking about in their unit at all hours of the night. Were they partying? No Were they dancing? No, but every time one of them walked across the floor, or rolled over in bed (I kid you not) which they never stopped doing, it was though they were teaching a herd of Moose to tap dance. We didn't hear them talking, it is just that the construction quality is so poor that there is no sound insulation, but by some construction miracle the owners have managed to create sound amplification. Of course, this lack of insulation translates into ice cold floors to walk on and the unit's inability to maintain a comfortable temperature As I type this at 7:45 I am enjoying the constant hammering due to the building more of these units about 50 metres away. Now the view of the ocean is lovely, as one looks seaward over the cemetery. Newfoundland is simply lovely and it was our fault that we picked this place 2 nights, but in the case of the Gros Morne Suites it is a case of "renter beware

Property was neat and clean but dated and you directly looked straight out to a cemetery. We also had another family staying right above us and you could hear everything

Property was a cottage with full kitchen, living room and 2 bedrooms. Basic but adequate and clean. Well-priced option for a family of 4. A silicon spatula for use on the new t-fal pan would have been nice. No dishwasher. Some smell, which dissipated over our stay, particularly in the bathroom, of a previous occupant who must have been a smoker. Location in Rocky Harbour was very convenient, walking distance to restaurants and a short walk to the picturesque harbour. Rocky Harbour itself is in the middle of Gros Morne Park and convenient for taking day trips north and south. Would stay again.
