Quality Inn Corner Brook

I appreciate the staff initiative to put us in a connecting room since we are a big family.

Family of four with two children under 10. Room was adequately clean. Shower was beautiful and spacious. Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is not included. This motel is close to restaurants and supermarkets.

Our stay was great!! But when i wanted to cancel sun night Aug 4th due to family reasons , I wasn't able to cancel and it was not the hotel management it was the hotel .com agent . Said if we canceled i would be charged a 200.00 cancelation fee least to say i will not be boling with hotel.com again and by the way its way cheaper rates to book with the Quality Inn than with hotel.com

Only two good things about this hotel was location and there was a microwave in our room. We stayed in room 202 for 3 nights. There was no housekeeping at all. Anything needed you had to call the front desk. It always took a few phone calls for someone to answer. Check in took a long time, there were two people at the desk but one just let us wait while the other was on the phone. Our sink was terrible and barely drained. And you could just barely turn the tap up. The hot water took forever to get hot. There was no tub and the shower was terrible. No closing door so no matter what you did the floor was flooded when you were done. It was horrible for a family travelling with children. The room wasn’t clean when we entered. There was crumbs on the floor, a pencil in between the beds and dust in places that could be easily cleaned. Mostly all the towels we received were dirty and stained. Not that we watched tv a lot but the channel selection was terrible. The beds were very uncomfortable and one was so loud and squeaky. At check out the person at the desk was rude and sarcastic when I said I was checking out. We definitely feel like we didn’t get our money’s worth at all and wish we would have chosen a different hotel. Do not recommend and won’t be staying again.

Property was ok very noisy kids next door ! Early check was expensive and kinda unnecessary fee
