Holiday Inn Express And Suites - Vernon, an IHG Hotel

My children and I enjoyed the delicious breakfast, fitness room, and quiet accommodation. There was a nice grassy lawn on the side to walk our dog.

We were a family of four that stayed in one room. Friendly staff. Easy check in and out. Rooms were clean. Beds were nice and comfortable . Lots of parking. Breakfast had all the . usual: coffee, juices, fruits, baked goods and some warm dishes. Cons: some mold in the bathtub that could easily be cleaned. We wiill come back if in the area again

Have stayed several times at this Holiday Inn Express. Good choice for families. Was nice and quiet during our stay. Breakfasts have good variety and selection.

Rooms were clean but showing wear. It was the desk clerks discretion to put us on the first floor, unfortunately there was a sports event going on in town for kids. A lot of noise up and down the hall and noise on either side of our room. Not much chance for seating for their "complementary breakfast" and the coffee was terrible, I mean really bad! For $351.00 for a single night, I would expect more for the money.

Great for our unexpected over night stay. Staff professional and friendly. Walkable distance to whatever needed. Pool area very clean as are the rooms. Pancake option within the breakfast nice treat especially for kids to watch the cakes roll out.

Pros and cons... Pros... -friendly staff overall -nice working hot tub jets -breakfast variety is good -fairly quiet until housekeeping starts in am and when they have to talk so darn loud in halls and rooms Cons... -not much recycling going on here! In room there are only waste baskets and in breakfast area everything is placed into garbage! -getting dated and older now, needs upgrades at times -the lids to the eggs and bacon holders close way too fast as is impossible to hold a plate and get the lid open to serve eggs and bacon. No place for the plate in front with the screen fixture. I get the screen fixture for sneezers and gross people but then make the lids EASIER to stay open, yes??? My egg dropped on ground and yes I picked up and threw out! -loud talking housekeeping staff! Why??? One was cursing lots last night very evidently and I told her children may be present...is that my job? -tv is old and dated and smaller and some sports are in high def and some other sports channels in standard def weirdly! Plus very limited channels. Changes needed please for the price!

Hockey teams spilled into hallway where I tripped over kids stuff ask them to put stuff aside, we were met with racism from other hotel guest who reported lies to bring police, traumatized by the whole incident and kicked out of the hotel in middle of night.

Tons of kids yelling and screaming. Cant sleep
