The Westin Resort & Spa, Whistler

We loved our stay at the Westin. We had a one-bedroom suite for myself, my husband and our 3-year old and we stayed for 3 nights. Check in was seamless, bell service was quick and convenient, room was spotless, spacious and fully equipped. Location is right in the village, walking distance to everything. On the grounds, we used the spa, the pool and hot tubs every day. A couple of things though; the bathroom door didnt work which isn't that big of a deal, but when you need privacy from a toddler, it would have been handy! We were having a couple of friends over, so we ordered up a charcuterie plate and some soup for my son. Both items came up in takeout containers which I thought was weird considering you pay top dollar for this food, it didnt even come on a plate. Again, not a big deal but definitely out of the ordinary for room service at hotels like this. Also, we called down on our 3rd night looking for pricing and availability for a 4th night and the front desk couldn't help us until 8:30am the next morning which I found strange. She suggested we book online, but if I did that I couldn't be guaranteed the same room. I unfortunately booked our 4th night at another hotel in the village which was great but we would have preferred to stay put. I thought it was a little strange that front desk couldn't help me book one more night. Other than that, our stay was great. Would definitely recommend the Westin for young famillies.

I liked everything. Great spa, great views, great pool. The only thing I did not like: nobody to check at the pool if rules were observed. In the morning: kids running on the wet deck and jumping in the pool; in the evening: lots of alcool and bottles around the pool, plus drunk people. No evidence of people watching around to enforce the rules at the pool. I will probably come back to that hotel, but more active surveillance from the personnel would be needed around the pool, both AM and evenings. Thanks

Clean rooms and comfortable beds with mountain views, right in the heart of Whistler. It is walkable and accessible to shopping and dining. My kids enjoyed the pool.

From check in to check out, our experience at the property was exceptional. Our room was expansive and clean, dining options were good and family friendly, and the amenities were excellent. If I had one criticism, it would be that the room was a bit dark, lighting could have been brighter.

Great location, friendly staff, clean in general. Good breakfast buffet. Our room looked out to a beautiful green forest, quiet and relaxing. The room has oven, microwave, fridge and even dishwasher. Equipment all pots pans bowls and cutlery to cook a meal. Great for family with kids or special diet. Only one thing is the room appeared to not have been used for a while, so it’s a bit dusty. They had left an additional duvet on the bed, Ie. Two level of duvets, i didn’t notice. So first night was so hot sleeping in that bed. There were also some empty bottles behind night tables from previous guests. Cleaning of the rooms can be improved.

checking in which is normally 3:00 at most hotel our room wasnt ready till after 4:00 front staff where like just check back later well we drove 2 1/2 hours to get here and the front reception staff where not so pleasant, I said to my husband ok we sit outside and wait or lobby I guess ?? maybe they are having a bad day ? Every time I ask them is room ready it seemed like we were annoying them :( got to the room finally went to have a shower no condition and o shampoo in bottles guess i am not washing my hair .opened the patio door 100,000 00 people yelling some kidda event with bikes going on didn't expect to hear all the noise went to relax kept windows and patio closed:(I will not rush back thats for sure we were disappointed to say the least went to bed early because of noise couldnt enjoy patio woke up extremely eary check out bye!

We were right in the middle of the village and it was the perfect location to enjoy shopping, walking and dining. The rooms are a tad small along with the shower area, but it was nice to have a refrigerator & small kitchen area. The staff was also very accommodating. Overall, it was a great hotel, but if you have a larger family, I would explore something different to have more space.

Our stay was wonderful. It was our family's first time using the app and from check in to check out, it was a very easy, convenient process. The pool was great for the kids, the restaurant was great, the suite was large enough to host the other 2 families on our trip. Our only negative was getting a room next to the elevator, which is a very loud machine. The bedroom in our suite was directly next to the shaft of the elevator and my wife our young child had very poor sleep in that room due to the noise.

Beautiful hotel in a great spot in Whistler Village. Our only issue was regarding the pool. It would be advisable to have an adults only time, say from 9-10pm. The pools and hot tubs were completely packed with kids - no offense to them as they were just having a good time but we didn't want to be wedged in with that many yelling kiddos.
