Nita Lake Lodge

Nita Lake Lodge is always a favourite of ours to stay. It’s quiet and the views are stunning! It has everything you need on the premise or very close by such as coffee, snacks, dining, a gym , liquor store close by, a pool and hot tub, and a fantastic spa!! The lake is beautiful and there are tons of trails to walk or bike. It is the perfect couples or family getaway spot if you don’t want to be right in the village.

Amazing for dogs and kids!!!!! Large and comfortable rooms. Loved the separate bath and shower ! Can’t wait to return.

If your idea is to relax and spend a few pleasant days alone or with your family. This is the perfect place.

Dining choices are a bit sophisticated for a resort hotel that supports a casual, outdoors family lifestyle. More down home family meal choices would be better. I did note that the Den dining room always had lots of empty seats. I suspect many guests were eating off-site.

We stayed at the lodge in September and had an amazing weather window. The property was much closer to other residential and rental areas than I had pictured. The photographs of the lodge do a great job painting a secluded area, but that's not the case. It's still a great location, but if you don't have a lake view, you are looking at a residential street and front parking area of the lodge. There also are no common areas indoors to gather and lounge- like read a book or play cards. There is a nice bar and the outdoor lakeside is great, but outside of the room itself, there's no common place to spend any time relaxing inside. I found the room itself to be quite comfortable. We stayed on the 4th floor which had a fireplace and giant ceilings. Seriously, at their tallest point, probably 40ft or higher. The wet bar area was nice, with some silverware, bowls, cups, glasses, coffee pod machine, microwave and mini fridge provided. And the tap water is amazing. There's a little sign above the wetbar sink stating Whistlers water is better on tap than bottled water and I completely agree. The best tasting (lack thereof) water I've ever had and it came from the tap in that hotel room! Beds were mostly comfortable, but could have been a bit firmer. My only real complaint would be how thin the walls are between shared rooms. We could hear a normal volume conversation from the next door room and a fussy baby our final night that sounded far too close. Overall a great place

Nita lake had good customer service and home resort like vibe. Love the rooms with high ceilings and heated bathroom floors. Bed mattresses were comfortable. Room service breakfast was excellent. Very nice to get complimentary bikes, big plus and sets resort apart. Improvement wise, suggest making a bigger pool, better for kids. Bike locker self serve with room key, we had to call someone to store and retrieve bikes.
