Comfort Suites Kelowna

The room was spacious and newly renovated. There was dust on many surfaces in the room. Starting from arrival there is limited parking space because of all the storage containers taking up all the spaces. (There are at least 10) entering the hotel the first thing you see are floor to ceiling tarps for a huge construction process in the entrance. We brought our grandchildren there for 1 night of swimming and fun and every time we went to use the pool there were no pool towels in the pool area. Twice i asked the front desk to bring towels and they only brought out about 4-6 towels while the pool was full of families as it is spring break.. The included breakfast was OK and typical of this franchise. The kids enjoyed the waffles.

We enjoyed Comfort Suites. The Staff were very friendly and helpful. They genuinely asked how our rooms were. They had no problem upgrading our room to a larger suite. Although, #425 was very noisy because of the roof ventalation fan, overall well lit clean suite for a good price. My kids were excited about the waterslide. They said it was the best yet! Contennental Breakfast was good, they ran out of orange juice, and 10 minutes later it was filled 👌. I would stay there again.

On negative was that the walls/floors are thin. Tough sleep as it was a family of elephants above us.

Super nice room, comfortable bed, but it was a bit noisy and from kids running and shouting in hallways and in the room next to us. However, the staff did say they could move us. Staff were helpful and friendly, and overall we enjoyed our stay.

There were renovations going on which didn't bother us at all. Front desk person was very helpful and friendly. I was disappointed in the rooms. You could easily hear people talking in other rooms. The non-rug floor was sticky and had clearly not been cleaned. The pull-out chouce had hairs all over it. The towels and face clothes in the bathroom were stained. Pool qnd hot tub were decent though..kids loved it. Probably wouldn't stay again though tbh

Hotel management is doing some updates , but those are just to give filling that hotel looks nice. Instead , they need to update windows, especially on rooms looking at highway , since noise that is coming from every passing vehicle is very loud, especially when large trucks drive by. And they drive all night long. Do not recommend booking the room on that side hotel until windows are replaced with newer better sound proofing type. Even the rooms looks nice, good size, newer furniture and mattresses , but pillows are to small. Bathroom also looks nice, but toilet bowl is very, very low, almost kids size. But the worst thing in this room was heating unit. When unit kicks in , on heating mode, at first for several minutes it blows cold air, and than hot air. And on top of all it is so loud, so it is impossible to have it on and try to sleep.

Hair in the shower, stain on pillow case. There was a baby screaming upstairs all night and loud stomping and banging. Soup proofing is no good. You can hear everything from the hallway and my room was in front of the elevator.

Love the updated rooms. And the pool was a hit with the kids. Will be back again.

We always like the swimming pool here. The staffs are helpful and friendly. The room is clean. However, a few things in our room I found a bit inconvenient. The TV is off center from the bed. The bathroom doesn't have a hanger for hand towel. The faucet of the sink is so deep that my little one can barely reach even when she uses a stepping stool. And my daughter can't reach toilet paper when she's on the toilet. All of the above aren't an issue normally. Not very young kids friendly.
