Ocean Resort

Friendly staff were happy to get us in as the final guests to check in. Staff were kind giving a little gift to my children on checkout.

The rooms were very clean and the staff was helpful and really friendly. I really loved our ocean view room and we were able to have a great picnic right by the ocean. It felt like a private oasis. I would definitely recommend to friends and family and I will definitely come back

Likes : Stayed here for 3 ngts during spring break. Richard & Helen, the owners are quite friendly & hospitable. In fact, Richard invited our family to a game of badminton at Sportsplex abt 15 min drive from the resort. It was great to play with some of their friends. Our family felt right at home & had so much fun ! Microwave, toaster, coffee, tea, hot water, creamers availability in the lobby area for guests' use is a lovely addition ! :-) Improvements: The rooms have to be soundproof. The walls are paper-thin we can hear the noise next door. The lobby/dining area opens at 9am & closes at 5pm thus unable to maximize use of the space. To compensate for this, a table and chairs would be great in the room patio to enjoy the view. Overall the resort is a "gem" on a lovely serene beach w calm waters which is quite relaxing & rejuvenating ! We will definitely come back summer time !

Be sure to pay attention when you book the advanced payment, non-refundable rate. It will put you on the non-ocean side view which means you're facing the parking lot and the highway. The non-view rooms have no balcony, so the incredibly small size of the room becomes even more apparent without the additional outdoor space. That being said, the grounds are lovely and we took every opportunity to be on the beach and not in the room. The room was very clean! The TV did not work ane there were no instructions. No coffee maker in the room. There is a communal pot in the lobby along with a toaster and microwave. If you're booking for Campbell River, it's about 25 mins away. There are closer places than this that may be worth a few dollars extra if you're visiting family (as we were). Book early for Campbell River in summer!

Stayed 4 nights with family. Wonderful view of point and backyard. Good location by seashore and road. Really friendly staffs. We'll stay again when we go to Comox.

It was very medical feeling. Like i was staying in an old hospital room. Teenage girls screaming outside until midnight when the police finally came. They did not refund our money after a long night of my children not sleeping because of the disturbances . Rooms are not sound proof. I will never stay her again.
