This is not the first time we stay @ Heron's Landing and not going to be the last one eighter. Very handy to everything in Campbell River, specially where my daughter and family live. The only thing they missed, is when we "put the label to do the room", we left for the day and when we came back the room was the same way we left it; in other words: she forgot and did not do it, meaning bed was not made and cleaning eighter, no fresh towels, no more coffee, tea, etc. Hope it does not happen again or next time we would stay at the neighboring hotel.

We first noticed the fan in the room was absolutely disgusting, so we cleaned it. It was so dirty it left a black, greasy ring in the tub. It was so gross. Then we dusted the whole room after finding cobwebs and layers of dust on the lamps above the bed. The walls are so thin, at night, the neighbour's kid flinged the springy door stopper thing until one in the morning and the parents screamed so loud it was like they were in our room. Then someone was smoking (it is non smoking even on the balconies) and it blew straight into our room. The room furniture was straight out of 1980 and was not well kept in any fashion. I would not stay there again.

Our new home away from home when visiting family. The suite was perfect for our needs even able to host a family dinner for 7. Needed to purchase a couple pf kitchen items (a couple better knives and measuring cups and spoons) but left them for the next guest. So glad we went with a previous recommendation. We will definitely be back.
