Radisson Hotel Red Deer

We loved the quality check on the rooms and we were greeted with cookies or apple. My kids loved it along with the pool/hot tub. We will be back for the winter months in hockey season.

Very nice and clean property. Staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Will stay again next time we are in town. Stayed in a family suite and the room was very spacious and clean

We got a pet friendly room for our two dogs and had our two children with. Upon opening the door all we smelt was smoke! I than looked over the bed and found brown stains on the bed , cheesy stains, I than lifted up the bed skirt and there was dog pee stains on the pillow and on the mattress. I went down to complain to front desk and they were nice and all but all they offered me was 2 free drinks ……I was frustrated and told them to give me new sheets and I’d change them myself. I am a cancer patient and can’t drink. The property itself and outside was fairly nice. They wouldn’t waive a pet fee for a night or give me a discount. Sadly I don’t think I’ll be returning. The pool was amazing !

This hotel needs security or other staff that has the ability to deal with out of control children of guests racing up and down hallways, playing in elevators. For hours. Grow a set and establish limits.

I got a family room so our friends could hang out in our room. It was a good size. It was clean. The staff were nice. The hot tub was nice. It wasn't hot enough, but we got to stay in it for a long time and hang out. The sauna was nice and hot. The sheets on the bed were way too hard and scratchy. We couldn't sleep, we had to get fully dressed so it wouldn't touch our skin. The pillows were tiny and flat. The shower was awkward. There were 2 shower heads and it made it really hard to get them to point towards our heads to wash out the shampoo. We were disappointed. All of us went to the lounge for supper and the service sucked. It took so long for us to get anything. I tried to make a reservation so they knew we'd be coming, but i was told we couldn't do that.

Check in was ok, had to ask for my VIP perk and never received an offer for an upgrade. Elevators were super slow and took us to the basement when we pushed 2nd floor. Other than the hockey tournament staying in the hotel and letting their kids play hockey with a net and sticks in the hallway at 10:45pm at night, it was a nice stay.

Property is easily accessible with fast food options nearby. Parking stalls had plug-ins. The cribs for kids were really good quality not the average playpen.. Cons: There was no free breakfast even with expedia vip access and no free upgrade etc..
