A lovely comfortable stay for the family

The room was great. We were just coming to town for an event, we live an hour away. But we decided it would be fun to stay in a hotel and the kids could swim in the pool. No warning at all until checkin was complete, pool is out of order. I thought this may have been a recent issue but it turns out it’s been for months! Why not tell people or reflect in the price?!

The whole reason we booked here was is the kids could swim. The pool was out of order. A heads up would have been nice

The breakfast was fantastic and our grandchildren loved the pool! The downside was there wasn't enough luggage trolleys.

We had a great stay at the Hampton Inn and suites. We were very pleased the hotel accepted pets. The room was clean and modern and had great big bottles of shampoo, lotion, etc. Downside was a very loud air-conditioner that wasn't able to cool the room very much. Kids loved the breakfast buffet with homemade waffles. Rest of the food tasted bland and like it had been sitting there for hours (potatoes and bacon super chewy and not fresh and crispy). Overall an enjoyable stay for the whole family.

Very friendly staff. Very helpful. Within walking distance of a wonderful family restaurant “Glenn’s” excellent food, great service.

The pool was great for the Grandkids.

We have been regular customers over the years but we have decided to look at other hotels. There is no service anymore. I asked several times for an extra towel for my hair to no avail. I have introduced my friends and family to your hotel and we had a mini reunion. I was not impressed with the hotel and the service. To use the pool we had to go to the front desk for towels

It was fun! I got to use the swimming pool with my son. Fully equipped gym onsite. Situated on gasoline alley. Amenities at walking distance. Must try Donut Mill, a unique place to have lunch with lots of offerings and varieties of donuts to choose from. A movie theatre nearby… Sylvan Lake is a short drive away. The staff are friendly and personable. Although I didn’t have their buffet style included breakfast, my family enjoyed it immensely! I love that they have self serve hot water and tea bags and coffees by the front check in. Oh, their assorted soft cookies are great on the way out to your itineraries! The girls was very nice when I asked for a bottle of water for my little guy. She gave us a couple! Overall we are very happy with our stay. And will return in the future when staying in Red Deer!

All small garbage cans on property were overflowing….First room we were given we found used towels hanging on the bathroom door , dirty non vacuumed carpet & the pull out bed had been slept in & not cleaned …second room had no sheets, pillows or blankets for the pullout bed & as we tried to call front desk discovered the phone in the room was not connected to anything….night supervisor was extremely rude & moved us to a third room that was decent enough….went to the pool and there were no towels in pool area so we went to the front desk to ask for towels the supervisor would not look at me at all so I asked why she could not look at me she said “she doesn’t look at people it’s just what she does”& said there are no towels folded…the other girl in training said that she could fold some towels and bring some to the pool & I thanked her & she did bring some towels to the pool….talking with 3 other families in the pool area found they had issues with there rooms & also felt disrespected by the supervisor on shift as she had even unlocked & walked into their room without knocking to bring them pillows….to say the least this hotel needs new management with customer service training & some housekeeping training…will be recommending others to stay away from this hotel
