Trip for moms and kids to visit Red Deer area. Property is clean and safe.

I have stayed in different microtel hotel locations before, the quality has gone way down. Wyndham overall is a budget motel. The mini fridge was not working upon arrival and I had food that needed to stay cold. I found it was turned on but not running. I switched it off and on again, it runs but the keeps turning off and doesn't maintain cold. A staff member came to look and said maintenance is not available and suggested to move my room 2 floors down. They replaced my fridge. The beds are hard, I checked the mattress and it's the cheapest kind you can buy I agree the pillows and pillowcases are scratchy and thin, so are the towels. They need to get rid of the carpet, it's quite outdated and dirty! The room is OK, tv is small, at least the air conditioner is working. The breakfast is good, coffee terrible, no flavor. This is not a place to relax, weekends especially, kids running up and down the halls and stairwells screaming. I even called the head office and their customer service is non existent. I'll be heading to Staybridge Suites.

Friendly staff! Allowed a later check out (12pm). Poll facilities were fun for our kids and we enjoyed too! Breakfast served til 10am and was good selection.

Really enjoyed the pool with its water slide, hot tub and swimming pool combination. Check-in was quick and straightforward. We got a room right beside the pool; which worked well with kids and a small pup. The breakfast had eggs, bacon, pancakes, yoghurt, breads, fruit and juice; simply delicious . We would stay again.

This was the dirtiest hotel I have seen all week and it was one of the newest in the Red Deer area. The carpet was stained and stains on the towels and beds. The room smelled and didn’t feel fresh at all. Very small and tight. I was glad it was only one night, but the staff were friendly. We came early before checkin and the kids were able to use the pool.

Hotel was easy to get to, right on the edge of Red Deer. Hotel room was decent. Pool and waterslide were a highlight for my kids. Breakfast was standard but a reasonable selection of food. Would stay here again.
