Best Western Plus City Centre Inn

This place is great if you're having to commute in and out of downtown. If you have kids that want to swim... bring goggles. You won't swim in a pool with more chlorine. Your eyes will burn. Great restaurant attached to the hotel with mall just across the street. We'd stay here again if the price was right.

Kingsway Mall across the street and 5 min drive to my kids apartments.

The bed is very comfy, the duvet and pillows are wonderfully plush. Rooms are spotless. Bathroom is pristine. I like that the mall, especially Walmart, is just across the road, Very handy for food/drink/snacks. And a Tim Hortons attached to the hotel. Didn't use the gym or pool, but it looks like a perfect place to entertain families, young and old.

Was a last minute booking for us as we needed something close to the Royal Alex hospital and this property was just minutes away. I would say it was a good stay. Everything was about average or what you would expect. The pool and hot tub looked nice but we did not use it at all. I will likely book another stay at this hotel and bring the kids so they can give a review of the pool, slide and hot tub.

Check in was good, quick and easy. When we pulled up to our building, the entrance was being blocked by a group 3 three people, drinking and smoking weed on the curb. Walked through a cloud of smoke (with our children). The hallway smelled of weed. Our room was clean. The first night we were there, no one slept. We were in room 155, the room beside the building entrance door. This door is clearly broken. Every time someone opened it, the door slammed behind them, causing room 155 to shake. The noise was extremely loud. This happened all night along. Starting at 5:55am, it was continuous. I went to the front in the morning and asked to be moved. The hotel was full. The noise with the door continued again all night long the second night. Again no sleep. For $200 a night, it would have been nice to at least have a good night sleep. Hotel was okay, but I would avoid any room that is located by an entrance door.
