The hotel was very nice. Located a few minutes to Copacabana beach. Yhe breakfast was nice also. The pool is so tiny it could be mistaken for kiddies' pool. And the habit of charging for luggage storage is overrated. It should be a complimentary gesture to hold a guest's luggage before check in time. It's not a lot of money, but it looks tacky.

I know this is a 30 yr old hotel but hey u could do something to take off the rust, from the knobs & buttons. I came in with no bulbs ( no lampshade at all) at the bedside reading light( if u are a reader, u need this), shower flooded, toilet button is so old/rusty that the water kept going until I pulled it out. The wifi didn’t work from the morning I wake up until I came back at night , if u are working & has family— u would choose a hotel that has “wifi” services. I bought a SIM card but of course, it’ll give u limited services, too.
