Pompano Beach Club

Everyone is super friendly. They all go out of their way to keep us happy. We really felt like family. The view is amazing, the beach is perfect, our room was very comfortable. We did pay for our dinners in advance, and very glad we did. Every meal was fantastic. I'm sure I gained wait, surprisingly so, because there is a lot of walking and stairs.

Overall, my stay was awesome! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The beach is private with white sand. The water is crystal clear. There are two restaurants, one with a fixed menu, the other changes daily. Breakfast would either be buffet or sit down, depending on the day. The rooms were a bit dated but then again who is spending that much time there. Comfy bed and great shower as well as roomy for a family of 4. Nightlife isn't much with little entertainment. This is a family owned resort, the owner is always around, very friendly too. Like to give a shout out to George the maitre d. Great guy!! If I ever go back to Bermuda I wouldn't hesitate staying here again.

Great location on beautiful beach, next to golf course, close to railway trail. Warm, friendly staff. Small, family-owned resort with personal attention. Great views of the sea from every room, dining room, bar etc. Spacious suites. Excellent food - very good value if you get the MAP meal plan.

The hotel stands on a hill with tremendous views of the ocean from two sides, framed by the golf course. The scenery is spectacular, particularly the stunning turquoise of the Atlantic. The rooms are large and comfortable, each has a pre-made queen-size pull out couch. Rooms are a little old-fashioned and could use a face lift but cleaning is spotless, and the age of the resort is part of the charm. Staff is attentive and kind; the meal plan is well worth the extra fee: food is extremely generous and freshly prepared. We adored the beach (shallow and inviting), lots of sightings of birds and fish. The little ones will be thrilled with the multiple pools and a game room with arcade-style free machines. I really appreciated the courtesy shuttle that drops off and picks up from the bus stop, ferry, etc. All in all, Pompano was a wonderful experience!

Excellent resort, terrific food, and wonderful staff. Perfect for a family or a getaway. Right on the gorgeous beach. Our room was large with a large patio overlooking the water. Highly recommend this resort.

The family feel and friendly staff made this short vacation a most enjoyable and memorable experience!! Swimming on their private beach and the out of this world cuisine made Pompano Beach Club a place we will return to again and again!!!

My mom and I stayed for a week at Pompano recently. From the minute we arrived, the staff went above and beyond. The beach is a small private beach with a bar (the bartender was willing to wade into the ocean to deliver drinks), pool noodles, chairs, umbrellas, as rafts. Snorkeling gear was also available. The water is unbelievably clear and shallow pretty far out. The restaurants were great too. One restaurant has a fixed menu and the other changes nightly. We did the meal plan which was 30 dollars extra per person and included a FIVE COURSE dinner. They also had a manager party on Monday night that was free appetizers and rum swizzles, which culminated in a BBQ buffet at The Cedar Room. They chefs were grilling steak, chicken, fish (try the wahoo), potatoes, corn, and ribs. This really feels like the kind of thing that one can only get at a small family owned resort, which this one is, having been started in the 1950s and continually owned and operated by the same family. One can really tell a lot about a resort by how the employees act, and how many guests are returning guests. There was a certain sense of loyalty amongst the staff and returning guests. Many of the staff are long term employees, and a lot of the guests we talked to were on at least their fourth visit. Any maintenance was performed quickly. The views from the ocean front balcony were beautiful. Thank you for a great stay. I’ll be back.

The property was small enough that you could walk to everything easily. The staff was incredible and you felt like you were with family

We had a great time at Pompano Beach Club! The staff were wonderful, and the property is very family focused with lots of things to do on site. Dining options are great, and we even enjoyed an afternoon of compliments appetizers and drinks when we got to the resort. We will be returning next year.
