Blue Orchids Beach Hotel

We had a solid one week stay at Blue Orchid, our goal was to be at a convenient location that would give us access to beaches, and you couldn't get a better beach than Worthing that begins right behind the hotel. The accommodation was perfect for our family of 5 where two of our kids were in the small 2nd bedroom that had two twin beds. Things are a bit dated, particularly the bathroom, but it got the job done and we didn't come in expecting luxury appointments. We were actively out and thus didn't need much more than a quiet place to sleep, which Blue Orchid delivered. The property grounds are prototypical of a classic beach resort/hotel, and our kids enjoyed the pool, while I sat and took in the views of the water. Front desk, and other staff were pleasant and provided competent service, but the folks at the restaurant stood out in there exemplary service interactions with us, which was appreciated and the food was solid. Overall, it was a pleasure to stay at the Blue Orchid.

Inspite of not the latest appliance the place was very clean staff was very friendly quiet room and neighborhood close to a lot of things Already introduced the hotel to my family for our family reunion in 2025 Jesus tarries I had a very enjoyable stay and thanks very much for such a wonderful time Chanel and security Liverpool for job well done keep the good work up 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Excellent location. Near to a lot of eating options and restaurants. Located right by a bus route. Property a bit older but well maintained. Good option for families.

The property is well located to everything and being on the beach is fabulous. This is not a five star location but is average for a Caribbean property, you could pick it apart but why would you! The staff are so polite and friendly, the apartment was well appointed, the pools were clean, it was quiet except for the waves coming in! Just a couple of negatives was one of the front desk staff was rude which was unnecessary, but one bad apple doesn't spoil the whole bunch! The night time road noise was at times loud especially on the weekends but it didn't keep us awake just occasionally would wake you up. Overall would definitley stay again and recommend to family and friends.

If you are looking for an affordable , family friendly , in a great location this is the place to be. Full kitchenette , our room was steps away from the pool and beach. Grocery , shops , beach , a few mins walk or drive. The only downside , paying $20 us a night for a criib made of pvc pipe , it should have been free. We never ate at the restaurant, but there are plenty to choose from as well as the great Champers right next door.

Me and wife trying order room service dinner for the kids. couldnt get a hold of the Kitchen.. i call the kitchen for 40mins straight.. No one, pick up.. We was call since 7:50pm.. cause we know the kitchen close at 8:30pm..

Me and my family had a great time , we had a great view that capture the sunrise and sunset over the ocean. Everyone was friendly overall excellent place to stay.

My 1st visit to B'dos since 2019, so I was excited and looking forward to my stay & seeing my family. On arrival, my 1st disappointment was at check in, when the s. guard told me my room was on the 3rd fl, but the elevator was out of order. He said he would help me take my luggage up to my rm. I thanked him for helping me, gave him a tip and started preparing to get some rest, after a long night flight. If I had read the reviews, I would've seen a past guest had stated it was out of order back in July.Then I would've call to find out which fl I'll be on, & requested a 1st fl. My next disappointment, was the fridge/freezer smelt like meat blood drippings.I told the H/keeper, so she wiped it out w/ bleach, but the smell lingered. She told her Sup/Boss, who called me & said she would send some B/Soda. She brought it herself, so the smell lessen. Next, there were ants all over the kitchen, in the cabinets, on the countertops, in bathroom, even in the Microwave itself. I bought a 1/2 gal bot of vinegar and had to wipe out the Microwave before each use, to try to get rid of the ants. I like the location, but I regretted that I had booked almost my full 2 wks at this hotel & had to stay in that rm. I didn't want to complain bc I knew that after Covid, many hotels are trying to make $$$ to stay afloat.They should focus more on providing the best service, so guests would want to return. At check out, I told female @ front desk about the ants. No apology about the ants or my experence
