Yellow Bird Hotel

It’s a boutique hotel which is nice. Beautiful view of the bay. Allowed early check in. Room had comfortable bed, good working air conditioner, good water pressure. Office staff were nice. Many walkable restaurants. Pool was small but nice. Nicely priced hotel. Bus stop right outside the property which was nice and felt safe. Area felt safe honestly. Cons: small beach filled with boats that no one swam in however not hard walk to swim able beach (Dover). That said, for families Carlisle beach was much calmer. Restaurant staff on premises were not friendly at all and service was really slow (took 1 hour and 15 minutes to get breakfast). Loud music late from surrounding restaurants. Overall a sweet hotel with alot of positive qualities.

We made wonderful memories at Yellowbird. The staff made you feel like family and were friendly, courteous and helpful; the hotel was very clean and the housekeeping staff was lovely (especially M); the location and view were convenient to restaurants, beaches, and any local transportation you could want. I’d stay here again and again and again!

Stayed as a family of 5. Property was clean as well as our room. We were upgraded to the penthouse suite which was essentially a 2bd/2bth apartment...lots if space. The pool was small but sufficient. 5 min walk to Worthing beach. Many, many restaurants within walking distance. Less than 1 min to public transportion.

The hotel itself is cozy and clean. It's on a BAY covered in seaweed and corals so you have to walk about 7 minutes to the beach. The large suites are not modern in decor, but they are nice and held my family well.The hotel's restaurant has the SLOWEST service I've ever experienced in my life, it had nothing to do with the waitstaff, they were kind and attentive, but each time we waited well over an hour for our food. The property does NOT have an elevator, and the pool is small but it does the job.Krisann at the front desk was very helpful and helped make our stay quite enjoyable with all of her island knowledge and suggestions. They even decorated my suite for my birthday. The hotel is located at the top of the St. Lawrence Gap anx is a comfortable walking distance to restaurants, shops, beaches and convenience stores. I would stay here again
