AC Hotel Melbourne Southbank

So amazing and they make you feel so welcome to there place 2nd time been there and it’s only getting better nothing to change about the place amazing price amazing stuff they just treat you like family can’t wait to go back and stay for more beautiful nights

I would have liked more food options in the restaurant. More vegetables for example. More family oriented options. The side tables in the room were too small and there was nowhere for us to put our glasses.

Really nicely furnished, staff couldn't be friendlier and the ammenities were great ! Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Room was double booked We were offered another one and kept being told it was “larger” got to it and it was the disabled access room We had kids with us. Room was crap the ensuite had a small sink with no bench space at all. Pool was cold and tiny, Marriott Docklands sooo much nicer and better , and also found the location not good it is not on or near Southbank don’t be fooled by the name of you think it’s on “south bank river” says 11 min walk to crown that’s only if you are power walking. Our air con kept turning off also.

Extremely DISAPPOINTED!! Upon arrival went to park at the Care carpark drove in to find four vehicles with smashed windows so decided would not be parking there. Proceeded back to hotel and requested to park car there, valet is only valet if you don't have to park the car yourself as no one knows how to drive a manual on a busy Saturday night of checkins. Having then had my wife sitting upstairs for 25 minutes whilst I'd parked the car etc I proceeded to checkin where the checkin process is the worst I've ever encountered. Wouldn't allow my wife to check in although had ID card in my name, waiting 45 minutes to check in is beyond ridiculous and just really disappointing considering we had planned our afternoon before heading out. Checkin process is far too long and not necessary when it's busy and people just want to enjoy their retreat rather than be given the whole spiel. Having made it to the room the floor in the bathroom was dirty with what looked to be housekeeping footprints where they may have cleaned the floor but not dry. A pair of someone's undies found out the front of the room was rather unpleasant unsure if housekeeping was going to collect or not. Pubic hairs found in the inside of the toilet, nothing a flush couldn't fix but seriously just disgusting. Pool is overcrowded and just full of screaming obnoxious individuals clearly getting drunk in the pool. Guests with dogs rude and inconsiderate, carry your dogs rather then scaring kids!!

Excellent hotel . I would say it’s more for adults . The pool isn’t overly child friendly

Just be aware of this hotel allows pets in hotel, if you or your kids are allergic to pet’s be careful

Very dissatisfied we planned how trip on this hotel for the pool . For the kids to find out when we checked in the pool wasn’t heated their was a issue . Wish they had advised before our stay .
