Very pleasant experience. Great place for a family vacation with small children. The direct beach access is awesome. The restaurant was good too. Seafood buffet is one of the best I've had. Close proximity to Sea World.

We frequently visited sheraton in port douglas prior to children and wanted a similar experience closer to home. Sheraton gold coast is a beautiful family friendly property on the beach - great for kids who love both beach and pool. Our 4yr old and 10m old loved it. Seafood and breakfast buffet is amazing. We never had an issue finding a lounge by the pool - we love that people cant 'hold' lounges like in other resorts.

Great place overall for the family to enjoy!! And we love this place, however, some would like to also get complimentary Lunch Buffet along with breakfast to make it even more amazing!!
