George Williams Hotel Brisbane

Great value, room was clean and adequate. We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was for a city room. Very handy having the cafe/restaurant downstairs - although our dinner took ages because there was an apprentice chef on so that made it a bit tricky with little kids. The parking is the biggest challenge - it's a single lane alleyway for both entering and exiting, the turn into he carpark is extremely tight. It says to ring the buzzer but there's no button on the buzzer (and no guarantee you'll get a park once inside - it's very small). The exit instructions were a bit unclear as well - I'd suggest giving people clearer instructions before they check in.

Parking was hard to understand. TV didn’t work to watch movies so kids had to watch on their phones instead of giant tv in room. It couldn’t be fixed without IT & no other entertainment whilst the rest of us were at a musical so it was a little disappointing.

The hotel was convenient,clean and well equiped. I stayed with my daughter and two granchildren . There was intrusive chatter from somewhere, in the evening , and also from early morning. However, that was probably my bad luck , I would definately use the same hotel in future.

Check in was really easy. Staff were very friendly. The room was very clean. I loved the fact that they support the YMCA Breakfasts for disadvantaged school kids. This was a crowning glory for me.
