I love staying at the Vulcan. It is a family business that is simple clean and convenient. The staff are really helpful. Access to the property is easy and parking is cheap and close by. Easy walk to amazing dining at Broadway and Chippendale!

The people are lovely and it's a family business but given that I was expecting premium furnishings and a premium bathroom and having come from other 4 star hotels I was somewhat disappointed. The room was adequate but windows were a bit odd. Bathroom was dated. Couldn't fit the kettle under the tap properly. Nowhere to hang the hair dryer in the bathroom. It was clean, however. They provided breakfast, which was somewhat basic.

Our experience at the Vulcan Hotel was good. It is near a train station and several eating option. We stayed in a room with double queen beds for two adults and two kids. The room came equipped with wine glasses and a wine opener, which was nice.

Vulcan hotel was ideal for us. A small family run business who are always on hand. The reception staff were also very helpful and accommodating. The location was good for the central station which we used several times. Would definitely recommend and would go back if we stayed in Sydney again.
