Oaks Nelson Bay Lure Suites

It is an excellent position situated in the northern part of Nelson Bay just before the main shopping centre. We had a two bedroom apartment with expansive views over Port Stephens so we were very fortunate to have such delightful views. The staff greeted us with a smile and apologised for the fact the room wasn't ready so we had a wander and a bite to eat and upon our return we found that we were upgraded to a room with a view! The apartment was on split levels so when you enter you have a king size bedroom with a TV and small kitchenette and bathroom on the lower level and upstairs is another queen size bedroom with a large expansive living area and another bathroom and large kitchen with all of the mod cons. We stayed in Room 449 and the view is superb over the garden courtyard and the water. The pool is a mini lap pool and the grounds are nice and relaxing however the sunbeds have seen better days and are in desperate need of replacement. Our couch in the loungeroom was uncomfortable however this is only a minor point as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We couldn't fault the Oaks Lure however for some reason the air conditioner in the lifts didn't work so the ride up and down was very warm indeed! I liked the fact that you were slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of Nelson bay but still close enough to the main drag . I liked the layout of the 2 bedroom apartment however if you have a young family you may want to check the configuartion before you arrive.

Close to the beach didnt clean the rooms i was there for 6 nights air condition was constantly dripping water had to use buckets the ladies are helpful and nice no wireless internet only half an hour which i was over charged on my phone contractor pool is nice with the kids charged my credit card 75 on arrival
