Shops are within reach. Basic toiletries are provided. Beds are comfy. The room was clean enough except for the cutlery. Because of some dirty cutlery in the drawer, it's hard to trust if kitchenette stuff are clean. There's no dishwasher so we had to handwash everything first before we use the kitchen stuff. Aside from that, everything was perfectly fine with what my family needed. We'll be back because it was very convenient, comfy, and clean enough.

Despite the staff not being able to get me adjoining rooms, it was a lovely stay! Dog friendly, family room in a variety of set ups.

Was a bit dissatisfied with our stay at Abode Gungahlin. They did not tell us that they are currently painting the inside of the property so we were smacked with an unpleasant smell of paint during our stay - and still paying full price. If we had known that we would have chose to stay somewhere else due to have young children and breathing in the smoke fumes. We also had a lamp in our room which had an electrical smell so we out it on the balcony for the duration of the stay. Staff were pleasant, the rest of everything was okay, I wouldn’t say 4.3 stars though.

Other guests were running up and down the hallway, drunk. No one there to manage this behaviour. The water pressure was terrible and no PowerPoint in the bathroom to use a hairdryer. Was generally clean, but the shower needed a really good scrub. Paid fir a parent and two kids, sofa bed provided. Terrible option sagging, hard, uncomfortable and not suitable fir a teenager.

Room setup was good with separated bed area so kid could sleep early and parents stay up later. Location convenient as close to shops, plus modern pub next door.
