Vibe Hotel Canberra

The room had a very strange layout with a large gap in the dividing wall between bathroom and bedroom. This meant that noise and light bled into the bedroom whenever the bathroom was used during the night. Also no privacy when in bathroom (we were a family staying together). Staffing levels were very low and many staff seemed tired and disinterested - some with inadequate English.

We stayed in the two bedroom family room. New, clean and very quiet despite it being very close top the airport.

Stayed here two years ago and it was great. This time awful. Room service doesn’t answer the phone so you can’t order anything. There is no room service breakfast option only the expensive buffet you have to leave your room for. They barely had any dinner options on a long weekend because they clearly didn’t want to pay their staff properly to run the restaurant. Our Phone and tv both didn’t work in first room so we had to move rooms which was very inconvenient and wasted our time. It was meant to be a getaway from the kids with nice restaurant food we couldn’t have and too many room issues. They don’t seem to care either. No apologies or compensation for anything. Won’t be back.

During our stay we had a family emergency that involved a lot of rearranging plans. The staff at the Vibe couldn't have done more to help. They provided a fantastic service that made our stay so much easier at a difficult time. Thank you!

We checked in and thought the building looked new and impressive however this is when the good impressions stopped, as soon as we arrived in our room, we noticed the carpets seemed to be very unclean with dried rice and dust everywhere, we found milk from a previous customer (see pictures) left inside the fridge and the body wash dispenser in the shower was empty, and for 3 days since we have left this venue our family has been coughing from the dust, upon checkout, the staff did not care for anything other than collecting payment for the car park and mini bar. I’d avoid staying here again

We booked this property due to other positive family reviews but we were quite disappointed. Room service options were limited and not as per what was advertised on the website. Limited dining options for kids at the restaurant too, and staff didn't seem interested in helping find a kids' menu. We booked 2 interconnecting rooms and both showers leaked. TV remotes didn't work and one set of bed sheets had stains on them. Wouldn't book it again.

Well positioned for our visit to see family and friends. Really comfortable with plenty of easy parking.

The room size for the upper deck room on expedia is misleading, its the same size as the down deck room. The carpet was so dirty on the day we checked in, and we waited for two hours for someone came to vacuum. The daily room cleaning felt like not existing at all, the cleaner didnt even bother to wipe table for us, not to mention to clean up the carpet. Kids couldnt run on the carpet on their bear feet, so npt recommend the hotel to families with kids. A 3 star hotel with unclean rooms and bad service
