Hotel realm is beautiful and has a wonderful location! But the decor of the rooms are outdated, the carpet is terribly stained and the seating does not allow for a couple of families to be close together and comfortable. The robes provided have a horrible smell to them and the 24hr room service is not great! We did enjoy our night away and the bed was so unbelievably comfortable that you don’t wanna leave it. We would definitely stay again if the price was lower for what you get.

Excellent hotel with great facilities in a perfect location for exploring Canberra. Large rooms with everything you need, including free in room movies which was a nice little add on. The school holiday extras were amazing and the staff all went out of their way to make sure my two girls (5&7) had a brilliant stay - they haven't stopped talking about it. We travel a lot as a family and this is definitely one of the most memorable and welcoming hotels for children, whilst still being very much a grown-up luxury hotel. Will definitely be back!

The area was nice, the pool was nice although you had to book a time in to use it. The service desk and hotel lobby were impressive. However, my room's shower had issues and overflowing, the room felt grimy and dirty with hand prints on bench and blood or some substance on the picture on the wall. Uncomfortable. In addition, I thought I was paying in Aussie dollars, but only after I paid for the hotel, there was a tiny disclaimer that I paid in USD. I contacted Travelocity and their reply was that I should know that the $ is an international symbol for USD. As a result, I ended up paying way more than I could afford and had no groceries for my kids for the week and unable to pay school fees. I will never use Travelocity again.

Room is larger great for family. Check in was easy. Gym was great. Couple of negatives arw car park small and my bathroom the shower was noisy. However overall happy with stay.

Staying at Realm is always a pleasure!! I often stay for work but this was a weekend getaway with extended family across many floors and room. realm did admirably to accommodate us although at least one of the rooms had water damage from outside and overall, the best hotel in Canberra could do with a refresh. The desk team are generally lovely as are restaurant staff and the room service is always on time! Breakfast was super busy which meant a few missed orders and long wait times but it’s hard getting staff atm, so you have to recognise they still did really well. Thank you for having us!!

We stayed at the one bedroom suite (2 adults 2 kids). It’s huge with living area separate from the bedroom. Separate kitchenette with T2 tea and Nespresso coffee and milk without additional charge. We also use the washing machine and dryer convenient after our snow trip. The bed and toilet are luxurious and clean. It will preferable if we have the choose to between 2 twin beds or 1 king bed. As it comes with 1 king bed, we requested additional roller bed for $40/night.

I was in Canberra visiting family & have stayed at The Realm several times before. Always happy to come back. Food in Buvet restaurant was delicious! And cocktail was very good.
