A great little family run business in a central location. If you don't care about all the mod cons this will tick the clean and comfy boxes.

1st time to Hanoi. After booking at Hotels.com, managed to email the hotel, to arrange airport pickup. Eased our mind of finding the hotel on our own. It has front n rear block, with 2 rooms per floor. booked 2 rooms (family + deluxe), so have the whole floor of your own. Rooms are nicely decorated. Another plus point is the room has Ac-heater,can set room temperature to 31 degree Celsius. Breakfast is good. Like the pho ga (chicken noodle soup).staff are polite, friendly n humble. Always ready to give assistance, you just need to ask. Location is excellent. Many interesting places within 5 to 10 minutes walk. Like Lake Hoan Kiem, water puppet theatre, nite market (fri to sun only), intimex supermarket etc. For foodie,you should join street food walking tour, the office is just a few shops away from hotel. I join the 5pm to 8pm tour on the 1st day. You can revisit the shop of your liking since they are nearby. you wouldn't know which stall are selling tasty food if not for this food tour. For dinner, took a cab to Quan An Ngon,an upmarket Vietnamese restaurant, nestled within a bungalow house, many variety of food. Cost around USD10 per pax depend what you order. Worthwhile. It's about 10mins away, taxi fee about 40,000Dongs or less than S$3. Really enjoyed my stay in Hanoi.
