Bendecir Hotel & Spa

Staff is absolutely lovely and I can not say enough about how accommodating the ladies in the spa were for our family - they were so wonderful!. The morning buffet was also fantastic as were the views from the rooftop bar. Location is highly convenient to the Old Quarter. But..I struggle a bit with the 4-star designation. It’s evident that there’s has been some work put in to update the rooms, but the floors were dirty, the tub wiggled when You stood In It to shower, the tub faucet was dangling from the wall, you could not flush the toilet paper, and the noise from inside the hotel, itself, was horrific at night with doors slamming, people dropping things, babies screaming. I suspect a western 4-star has a different standard and I’m trying to take that into account after having travelled extensively and It wasn’t all bad, but a little disappointing.

The stuff are very friendly and helpful. Room are clean and comfortable. Only feedback is we have a family room for 4 and will be good to have 2 toilets instead of 1 will be ideal. The hotel location at Old Quarter is very convenient and is walking distance to popular lake and night market street. If you are aiming for true Vietnam experience is a great place to stay.

The service at Bendecir was excellent. Our rooms (junior executive suites) were roomy and had a lovely balcony/view. The breakfasts and skybar were also fantastic.
