Wingate by Wyndham Gillette near CAM-PLEX

Quiet, room was clean, breakfast was good. Staff at front counter was good except when my daughter checked in, they didn't have a room for her. She had booked online but the lady at the counter said they had no room, and she should have called the hotel directly. She was rather rude with my daughter so very disappointing. My daughter got a room at the hotel across the street. We had already checked in otherwise we would have gone across the street too as we had a family get together and we were inconvenienced by having to stay in different hotels.

The smoke alarms went off both nights multiple times we stayed for no emergency or reason. 6/14/24 at 430am, 6/15/24 1am, 615am, & 640am. Keys would quit working multiple times a day, and happened to multiple families from our softball team.

We choose hotels with pools as that's something my kids enjoy. The pool was closed so my girls were pretty disappointed.

No Ac in room. Asked for different room and they said hotel was full, even though parking lot is half empty. Asked for refund since couldn’t sleep and they said they didn’t know how to give one. Just looked at me. Only option was to sleep in hot room or eat money and leave. Bad service and bad experience for family. Wouldn’t recommend.

Rooms were dirty upon arrival for several guests. Had to wait an additional amount of time for new sheets and a cleaning. Pool was closed for maintenance but we never saw a single person working on it. Rented this room for my kids to be able to swim.

Pool was absolutely freezing. My child got sick from swimming in the pool and the hot tub was not completely warm.

Was very clean and comfortable-and affordable as well; would not only stay there again but would highly recommend to friends and family

We had sound problems with our tv, went to the front desk and they fixed it instantly. The next morning while we were eating breakfast, we left our husky babies in our truck for maybe ten minutes. Our oldest decided to get into our smoothie that we thought was safe in the door cubby. Mango smoothie ALL OVER THE FRONT TWO SEATS. I went to the front desk and asked for some wet towels and explained what had happened. She found some dry towels lol, but I was able to use the lobby bathroom and get it cleaned up. My husky on the other hand, let’s just say she has orange spots all over still haha. The staff was very accommodating and super friendly! It was our first stay in a hotel with our huskies and everything went great!

I would consider this a nicer hotel where I would be happy to take my family. Clean, comfortable. The bathroom is about ready for an upgrade / renovation as faucets, tubs, door showing significant use. I'd stay again given excellent pricing.

A few things didn't work (cable t.v., telephone), and had to ask for pool towels each time we used the pool. Hotel clean, kid friendly.
