My husband & I stayed here at the beginning of December 2022. This was supposed to be a 1 night getaway to decompress between Thanksgiving & Xmas. I saw some negative reviews but the majority of these were about other guests in the hotel so I overlooked those. BIG MISTAKE. At check-in the hotel lobby had a skunky pot smell. Staff was polite. We got a jacuzzi suite. We got the room on the first floor at the opposite end of the building as the lobby. There are 2 exterior doors on that end, one for 1st floor entry, one for 2nd floor entry. We go into our room & immediately (mind you this was around 4pm) started hearing several noises, outside & above us. It took a minute but we also figured out the loud bang that kept making me jump...it was the exterior door to the 2nd floor. It was right next to our room. The arm was broken so every time a person entered or exited the door would SLAM & scare the crap out of me. Throughout our short stay this evening there were several men outside smoking, leaning out their 2nd floor window smoking, men (NOT KIDS) running on the 2nd floor, REPEATEDLY in & out of the 2nd floor door (SLAM, BANG every time with the door), cars pulling up by that door idling & people talking. We didn't have any direct interaction with these guests but overall we did not feel safe here. Something strange is def going on here. Jacuzzi tub sucked, good for kids but 2 avg adults did not fit comfortably. Very disappointed. Left early to go back home.
