Best Western Plus Eau Claire Conference Center

Management should have intervened with noisy kids -it was near midnight -and not wait for other guests to complain. Conditioner was empty.

The room was pretty clean. The curtains would not come close to closing all the way so I had to close them with a hair clip. Our TV remote didn’t work and one of the electrical outlets beside one of the beds didn’t work. However, every front desk worker each of our 3 days was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was absurd. It’s posted that breakfast runs until 9:30 however all 3 days by 9:00 the biscuits, gravy, coffee, and breakfast meat ran out. Anyone that asked the attendant about refilling something was told the same - we’re out for today, sorry. Sometimes the attendant would end up bringing out a little more of something, but it would be a little bit of gravy but no biscuits. Nothing stayed refilled well. The yogurt machine was completely empty the last 2 days and the attendant told another guest yogurt hadn’t been ordered. The waffle batter machine ran out before 9:30 our first 2 days. The first 2 days I overheard people in the breakfast room talking about problems in their rooms too. One lady mentioned she was part of a group of people staying in several rooms and every room had a problem. The pool was cloudy and the surface of the water had that slimy look to it. We didn’t venture beyond sticking our legs in even though we booked the hotel because we wanted a pool. I will not be staying here again when we’re back to see family in the area nor will I recommend it.

The primary reason I rented these rooms were due to the close proximity of the hot tub and the pool. Hot tub is not working and no notification at check in. Nice option with the grandkids. One room had a half empty ice tea bottle on the desk. The other room had a mess on the desk chair. Satellite was not working at arrival.

Hotel was clean and comfortable, but pool and hot tub time was either not open or not enjoyable to adults due too many kids.

The staff was friendly, the pool and hottub were very nice. The breakfast had a great variety, including gluten-free options clearly labeled! The staff even had little Christmas gift bags for the kids. A warm place to stay while traveling on Christmas.

This was a stay of 6 in a suite. We had to ask for a blanket for the sofa bed, you would think they would have an extra in the room. The shampoo, conditioner, etc were empty. There were dead spiders in the pool so the kids didn't want to swim. It wasn't all bad, room was comfy, breakfast was good.

After a stressful couple of days traveling and staying at not so great hotels along the way it was a breath of fresh air to stay at the BW Plus and conference center in Eau Claire. The hotel was in great, well kept condition. The staff was friendly and helpful. My kids enjoyed the large pool and hot tub as well as the small game room with play till you win games. The large breakfast area has several choices to eat, and they had a bar/restaurant with great food at dinner time. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, and most importantly to me clean! My only negative about the stay was some very loud guests who management quickly took care of when I called the front desk. Highly recommend this hotel!
