This is our go-to home away from home when visiting family in the Beloit Area! The staff are always great, breakfast is great, and it's clean. That said, the property is starting to show its age in a few places and some "refreshing" seems to be hastily done like I can see brush strokes in the paint on door frames.

It was absolutely NOT safe. The hotel was super clean, the room looked great, the pool was clean, we really appreciated the breakfast. We had traveled back for a funeral and those small things were great. However, the second night there - people were screaming and shouting obscenities in the hall. It was a full on domestic situation. I called the front desk twice. I was told “ya…people don’t know how to behave anymore”. I should have just called the police - but I was hopeful the hotel would handle their own guests. They did not. My children got to listen to those people screaming F*** while banging on doors. It was 10pm. Nobody was made to leave. You can act like that AND get to stay in the hotel you just disrupted.

Far enough away from home, yet not so far that there was a long drive. We stayed the weekend and the kids swam, swam and swam. We went to the Beloit Snappers game. After the game we were back in our room within 10 minutes. Breakfast was a great way to start the day. The staff was helpful and cheerful.

We stayed here for a race weekend at Blackhawk Farms, which is about a 10 minute drive. This hotel is an excellent value for this family of four with 11 & 9 yr old kids. First, the great parts: The staff was extremely helpful and professional. I was 100% satisfied with the cleanliness of the room, as well as the rest of the hotel! Even the stairwells, pool areas and elevator were spotless. Very comfortable beds, including the roll-away (a rarity!). The pool is saltwater, which is great for the kids, but note that the hot tub is still chlorinated but very clean (no gross foam or dirt floating around). Breakfast was on time, clean dining and fit the bill. Not bad, but worth noting parts: Breakfast is what you would expect for a complimentary continental breakfast. Tons of bakery, breads, cereals, juices, yogurts and a small amount of fresh fruit. The waffle maker either didn't cook it through or made it hard as a rock, so we opted for toasted bagels instead. There were "omelets" pre-cooked and ready to eat, but neither of my kids would eat them and they love omelets. There were hard-boiled eggs as another protein option, but they were like rubber balls once peeled. So, if you like a carb-loaded breakfast, you will find everything you need, including French toast sticks. But if you're looking for good protein, bring some. Like I said, breakfast is not and should not be a deal breaker. We would (and likely, will) absolutely stay here again for the next race weekend.
