Holiday Inn Express & Suites Marysville, an IHG Hotel

Good hotel for family, nice staff, clean place, brunch is good, closer to highway. Recommend it.

If I could rate this property a 10 I would! Our time here was for three days while in the area visiting family. From the moment we checked in until we left the parking lot to head home our experience was top notch. Every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. The whole place was very clean and nice looking. Our room was above average, the bed was the best I have ever slept in and wanted to take it home with me! The room was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. We were conveniently located to the elevator and ice machine (no hunting or looking at a map) . The breakfast each morning was fresh and hot with plenty of choices. The coffee machine was an added bonus because the coffee typically isn't the best at hotels but this place has amazing fresh brewed, delicious coffee. I brought our own coffee maker and coffee along but never used it. Our grandkids came over to visit and we spent time in the pool and hot tub making great memories. The guests we encountered were fun and friendly and our Shi Zhu made lots of friends too. I will highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. One thing I recommend is you remove the phot of the BBQ since it is no longer available. Had plans to use it but were able to walk over to Applebee's for dinner as a substitute.

Very friendly front desk staff. Dogs were happy to see little pad next to the side exit. Breakfast was good. Pool was warm and water was clean. Minutes drive to Seattle prime outlets and Casino. Will definitely stay again with the family.

This place is clean, quiet and conveniently located off the interstate. Close to shopping and several restaurants. We stayed for a week and I only had 2 complaints - the pool was not open (they kept saying "hopefully tomorrow"). I traveled with children and the pool was one of the reasons we picked this hotel. The other complaint was parking. Most nights, every spot was taken and if you get there late, you are left struggling to find somewhere to park. Definitely not truck driver friendly!!! No room for tractor trailers. The place is clean, staff is friendly, and they have a great breakfast buffet!

We are impressed with the friendly and easy check-in process. The room is well-kept and the design is excellent. The best part of our stay was our little furry baby was allowed. 👍

We booked several months ahead but the front desk gave away our room to another customer on the phone while I was standing there, checking in! Her reasoning was because that person was being charged a higher rate. I booked first, I was physically there first. But she literally scratched off my keycard and pretty much said "woops, your room is now someone else's. Here is another room you didn't book and didn't suit your needs." She refused to refund me because I booked through Expedia. Greed. Unethical. Inconsiderate. Rude. Never giving any business to any Holiday Inn ever again - they didn't seem to care at all anyway. Absolutely horrible customer service. Shame on you...To that front desk lady, how do you even sleep at night to be doing this to an innocent young family that never wronged you? We're not beggers, we booked in advance and paid in full at the price you quoted.

We had very little service in the four days we spent there. They did not clean the room or bathrooms, we had two rooms and they did not change the linens one time. They took our towels and we had to go to the front desk and pick up new towels each day. We had a crib and asked for a new sheet, we had to pick it up at the front desk. There was no child friendly cereal, we had 5 kids with us. They refunded part of our first night but said that was all they could do for the inconvenience. They did not replenish the soap or cups in the room. The staff wrote notes each time we asked for someone to clean our rooms and made excuses as to the possible reasons, short staff, etc. so how are they keeping up with their responsibility of cleanliness. Lots of people in that were complimentary from the casino, the trashes outside the front door were filled to overflowing each day with empty alcohol containers. A lot of vagrant’s in the hotel hallways. Made us feel nervous to let the kids out of the rooms without us.
