Holiday Inn Express & Suites Seattle North - Lynnwood, an IHG Hotel

The mattresses feel like a memory foam of some kind. They were ok. Offered some support at least. The cleanliness was very good, and the facilities fairly updated, but the air was very humid and stuffy unless we kept the windows open. We chose the room for its extra pull out bed so my kids wouldn't have to share a queen, but the mattress in the fold out bed was sagging quite a bit. My youngest wasn't too comfortable on it. I would also comment that the front desk staff we encountered over four days could use some encouragement, as they came across as rather unhappy to be there and not very empowered to find solutions. I tend to find it's a managerial issue on some level when that happens.

Breakfast was nice, but the food and hot water was super slow to be replenished, so go early if you want access to everything. Pancakes machine is neat. It spits out 2 at a time so keep that in mind. We needed to ask but got a crib. Room was spacious. Pool is not heated so was pretty cold for the kids.

We were celebrating our sons birthday and had 2 rooms. Pictures showed a hot tub next to the pool. When we got there the hot tub was covered with decking and the pool was so cold most of our children including the birthday boy only played in the pool a short time. The bed were very uncomfortable and my wife and i did not get very much sleep. Breakfast was good the next morning and they had a decent selection of items. No sugar free options for syrup or jelly. There was a work room but we did not use it.

I was there for my daughter having heart surgery at childrens hospital and even though it was 7 miles away it was really convenient and the staff was great and me and my kids loved the room and breakfast and everyone was so nice!!!

Overall good stay with the family. The pool is forgettable - too small and looks like it needs a cleaning. The breakfast was good - had standard food including cheese omelettes, Turkey sausage, and bacon. Later on during breakfast service the omelettes and bacon ran out and they replaced it with pork sausages and scrambled eggs. Standard fruit (apples and bananas), three types of cereals, and hot oatmeal. Variety of breads, bagels, muffins, and yogurts. Milk and juices also available. The room was a good size. Spacious bathroom and the room was minimal but well thought out and quite a bit of room to move around.

Really great stay. Hotel was small but very accommodating. Good location for a quick trip to Seattle. Lots of eateries nearby. The only critique I would have is the pool temperature was very cold. Even the kids thought it was chilly which never happens, but besides that everything was good.

Was kept up by the guests in the room above mine and kids running and talking loud in the hallway. Bathroom faucet was also broken

Check in was a breeze and front desk was friendly. Room was clean and pleasant enough. However, the walls are paper thin, we could hear our neighbors talk which meant that they could probably hear us. We had to hush the kids because we didn't want to disturb other guests. We also heard every door opening and shutting along the hallway. Another con....the pool was open, however the water is tap water cold. It's not heated one bit and it was cold! My daughter joked and said maybe by "heated pool" they meant that there's a heater outside the pool!! 🙄😆 Breakfast was 7.5/10, the pork sausage patty is just nasty. Take that out of the menu or order different brand. They have an automatic pancake maker, very cool experience. Apart from that, we would probably stay here again because of the location to the mall and it is quite safe feeling and it is affordable.

I am a 30 year Priority Member with Holiday Inn and one of the reasons is there late check out for priority members. I checked out of a great hotel to spend my last night in Holiday Inn for the late check out. I called and was told my room was ready.. However, it was not ready and we had to wait in the lobby with a sick toddler for at least 30 mins. Then, the next day they told me I had to be out at 11 am, even though I explained we had been up all night with a sick baby. It made a great hardship on me. Additionally, we had no linens for the sleeper sofa and there was food and childrens crayons, etc all over the sleeper sofa when we pulled it out. I will NOT stay at this Holiday Inn again in Lynnwood, WA, and I would like my money refunded for this terrible stay.

Stayed one night with family and friends. Hotel is clean and bright, our room was clean and spacious. Convenient location as it's near shopping and restaurants. Will definitely stay at the Holiday Inn Express again if we are travelling in the area. Areas of improvement: front desk employee during our check in can be more informative, he was rather unenthusiastic and did not provide the usual friendly experience expected at hotels.
