Courtyard by Marriott North Seattle/Lynnwood

My husband and I booked a room at this Marriott location so we could attend our daughter's baby shower. The shower was originally schedule to be in a park, queue torrential down pour and rain. First thing the morning of the shower, I asked Jenny at the front desk about the possibility of renting one of their rooms given the short notice. Jenny was amazing and had the room ready for us incase we needed it. We gave her about an hour notice that we would be needing the room and she didn't break a sweat. The room was the exact right size for the number of people attending and we were able tote in our own grill to BBQ burgers and hotdogs. Everything went off with a minimum amount of hitches on our part. At the end of the event Jenny had already left and Becky took over making sure that we had everything we could possibly need. All in all, the hotel went way above and beyond to help us make the baby shower a success. Thank you all very much!

I will never stay here again. I'm mostly bothered by the price to quality ratio. The room is so small I can barely walk, when I got here there was hair on the pillow, the toiletries, in the tub, on the wall. The towels were either dirty or stained. The pool is so chlorinated my kids skin is dry and itchy and their hair feels dead even after washing multiple times and conditioning. The staff is nothing to write home about. The food they offer is overpriced and sub par. The table we sat at in "the bistro" looked like it hadn't been cleaned for several parties. There was also a hair in my food. They advertise things they don't actually have. The microwave is broken and burned the bag of popcorn I was over charged for.

Staff were mad that the kids were leaving wet footprints on the way back to the room from the pool. We called for extra pillows and blankets at 10pm. They never came. The poor girl at the front desk said she was the only employee in the whole building. She was clearly overwhelmed. I felt bad for her.

From check in to check out, everything was smooth. The staff are world class! Love the 24-hr access to the pool and gym. My family and I would definitely stay here again.

A little dated and musty smell in the room but after turning on AC it disappeared. Staff are friendly, helpful and very toddler friendly. Close to many shops and eateries. Will recommend and stay again!

The furniture is the room is scratched and flaking. The TV is over a decade old and the room smelled a bit odd. This was the worst marriot if ever stayed in. I almost left and went somewhere else but I couldn't afford to pay for this and another hotel. The bathrooms have urine caked around the hinges and other people's pubic hair was found on the toilet AND someone's hair was in the shower! I highly doubt anyone cleaned the bathroom before our stay. The pool was super tiny and very cold. The hot tub was only slightly warm and very cloudy and musty smelling. We had to shower right way because our skin smelled terrible after our short dip. The outside of the building looks nothing like the pictures and the sound of the freeway kept me up almost all night long. The employees were kind and professional but overall this property is outdated, old, and in desperate need of remodeling. I feel terrible for my kid. He's trying to make the great of it but this place made him terribly homesick.
