Blue Elk Inn

The hotel was great for our dogs as room was on the bottom floor with a nice porch off the front. inside the room was hardwood floor and throw rugs. We like having a microwave and mini refrigerator too. The TV was a smart tv so we could watch just about anything such as Netflix, youtube etc.. The hotel is directly across the street from the Leavensworth Adventure Park, which is a year round roller coaster. That was the favorite thing the kiddos did.

We had a beautiful suite for our family, it was like a large apartment.

Was called prior to my arrival asking what time I would be arriving. She told me on the phone that the front/office and pool would be closed by 830pm . And i could get a code to get into my room. Ive never heard of no one being there and the pool closing so early. I picked this hotel also for the pool, hot tub and sauna non of which my family could use. Should of picked another hotel. Also the room door did not not have a dead bolt or safety bar to lock. Room was large, beds were fine. Bathroom was remodeled but water pressure in shower was minimal. Breakfast was what was expected-nothing great but adequate.

A dark dungeon room, no table, noise from children, dogs and elephants in the next room. 15 min walk from the town. Breakfast worse than a motel 6. Beds way to soft. Creaking 1960s AC. Beautiful view of the back of a fence and piles of old construction material. Very much not worth $100 a night rather than the $350 a night we paid.

Great family friendly place to stay. Nice back patio and lawn, some corn-hole games and good size pool during the season. 2 sauna cabins and year round hot tub in the pool area. Really pleased with the Blue Elk Inn! Breakfast was typical continental, but really good prepared and when the bins and trays were empty, the staff refilled them quickly.

The property is not within walking distance of downtown if there is snow and parking in the downtown area is sparse and pricey. We tried to walk to the town but there was so much snow and this made the walk unsafe and impossible. The property itself is well maintained, has been updated and property maintenance staff were right on top of clearing snow for parking as it was snowing hard all weekend. The breakfast is wonderful and filling. Staff seemed to take pride in quality and presentation. The hot tub is kept nice and hot and is very enjoyable in the winter months. However front desk staff were unenthusiastic. They were helpful but gave us the sense that they didn't care if we stayed there or not. Overall the property was fine for our visit however if I had children I would stay closer to the downtown area for convenience of getting them to the sledding and lights.

It was beautiful with the snow all around. Our room was really nice with the patio and gas fire pit. We came with kids and grandkids and had a great time in Leavenworth and our stay at the Blue Elk Inn. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were good as well.

we didn't actually stay at the inn. we bought the weekend for our daughter and her family. they enjoyed the inn very much.

Easily one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The Blue Elk is a very well done remodelled boutique type inn. The lobby is warm and inviting it actually makes you want to spend time relaxing in it. The staff are kind and welcoming as well. Our room has a warm feeling with nice colours that make you want to stay in and relax all day, a large oversized king bed is very comfortable and the layout is great. The bathroom also clean and updated. The bedside lamps double as wireless device chargers. Also considering this is a dog friendly room most times that translates to an older room. But not here, dogs are welcomed and part of the family. The back of the building has an amazing fenced in green space with lots of places to lounge around and relax. There is a pool, horseshoes, two fire pits and two saunas one of which is on a platform halfway up a tree!! This inn makes you forget what a wonderful town Leavenworth is as you will want to spend all of your time relaxing at this inn. Let’s not also forget the breakfast that’s included. I challenge you to find an place that includes breakfast that has things such as frittata and many other warms breakfast options. We will definitely be coming back to Leavenworth and the Blue Elk Inn will be our go to location every time. We want to keep coming back thanks to the Blue Elk Inn.
