Holiday Inn Express & Suites Auburn Downtown, an IHG Hotel

all were supposed to get a hold of the hotel. They never responded. We are out 300 because our kid couldn’t play in auburn because she was playing for a state championship in Oregon.

Clean! A well established housekeeping/ maintenance team during the whole stay keeping everything smelling good & up to par! Family friendly. Pool is on smaller side kids, didn't complain. 24 hour fitness. Great full breakfast. 5 star customer service with meeting my satety concerns due to current crime rates in WA.

I reserved my booking on Wednesday, paid in full. I arrived at the hotel on Saturday evening & was told that I did not have a reservation. The hotel failed to communicate that they were “overly book”. The receptionist attempted to insult my intelligence with questions instead of resolutions even though I provided a confirmation number. Horrible experience considering I had my children with me & a four month old.

This was our family vacation before school starts. My children had a lovely time playing at the pool and the breakfasts was great. Thank you to the Auburn Holiday Inn staff for making this a memorable family vacation.

My family had a great time there. Stayed for 5 nights. Very safe place. Lots of free parking. Breakfast was very good. Staff was very cooperative. Initially had a difficulty to find a black teabag but later it was resolved with the help of staff.

We booked here for our last night of vacation. We arrived around 4pm. The kids loved the pool, though it got very crowded later in the afternoon and the people there made a huge mess that made the floors unsafe to walk on. No staff members ever came in to check at any point. The laundry room was completely inadequate. It had 1 washer and 1 dryer. The dryer took 2hrs per load. A couple of women made my son take our clothes out of the wash so they could put them on the counter. Again no staff ever came in that room to check things. Breakfast was wonderful! The staff that we dealt with was extremely helpful and accommodating. The room was clean, quiet, and just as expected. The elevator was a bit clunky. It took a while and made some concerning sounds. Over all a good stay.

Very nice hotel & great suite room for families. One fatal error for this property is the owner's decision not to accept non-American credit/debit cards for the pre-authorization deposit all hotels require as part of their computer system. The normal workaround of using a cash deposit was also not within the property owner's hotel policy. The front desk clerk was about to turn me away from my prepaid stay by following the property owner's policy, until my wife & kids walked in. The clerk did not want to turn me away since I had young kids & made an exception to the pre-auth so that we could stay the two nights as planned. If the property owner's correct this fatal business flaw, I would recommend this hotel. As someone who regularly travels for business & pleasure around the world, this was my first experience where the property owners were not only not willing to find a workaround to a problem, but had intentionally made business decisions that excluded a large portion of potential customers.

Our 2 nights stay was great with my wife and two young kids. Check in was fast with a very friendly person. She was knowledgeable and helpful. Room was clean and air freshener smell in the room as well as hallways was so nice. Room with two queen beds was specious and there were Microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker. Pool was small but clean. Continental breakfast including Egg (2nd day mini omelets) , Sausage (2nd day bacon) , Hash brown, Pancake, Cinnamon buns, Juices, coffee, milk, cheese, ... serve 6 to 9:30 everyday. But mostly refill up to 8:45. Plenty parking available around the building. The location was 7 min drive to Outlet Collection Mall and a Walmart and Safeway which is great!

Always stay here when I visit family in the area.

We really enjoyed the hotel. It was very clean with a nice modern feel to it and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was also really nice we will be staying here again as We have family in the area.
