We loved our time at the Blackburn on a family girls trip. Hotel has lots of history and wonderful, newly updated rooms. Staff was very accommodating and breakfast delicious.

This was a quick pop in to meet up with family for a longer trip. It was a little difficult to locate the parking lot and the door as it does not have a traditional entrance. I did not provide dinner as stated. The restaurant was suppose to open the night we arrived but never opened. They are not equipped at the coffee shop for those that are dairy free so bring items that you need for morning coffee. We would stay there again as the rooms were large but maybe pick up dinner ahead of time when traveling late. The choices were Mexican or burgers:(

We loved the Blackburn Inn for our girls weekend. The property is beautiful! Staff were all friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Rooms had a separate sitting area with a sofa/bed and television in addition to the television in the bedroom ( which would be nice for children). The renovation done to this historic property is fabulous while preserving the Jeffersonian look that Blackburn had in mind originally. I can’t wait to come again this spring to see the weeping willow trees and the flowers in bloom.

Great location to walk to town. Town is cute and about a 10 minute walk. This hotel is not meant for families. All rooms are a queen with a pull out sofa. I would not consider it a pull out sofa. We have 9 and 8 yr old boys and it was not big enough for them to comfortably sleep.

What a great experience to stay in this beautifully renovated historical place!! Everything was just great and the price very reasonable. The bed was a little hard for me, but I have back issues so you never know if it’s the bed or my back after a long drive. The architecture is amazing and being in a family of health field workers as I am- the hospital feel was definitely there. Healing and positive- not so eerie or spooky for me!
