Holiday Inn Manassas - Battlefield, an IHG Hotel

When we got there they asked us to put 100 hold on our card for incidentals. We only had cash and they refused to check us in even though the room was already paid for. We had to call a relative. We were from out of town and no exceptions were made. The front desk guy was rude and had no customer service skills and was asleep in the back. We also had an invasion of ants in the room. They were all on the floor and on the kids shoes, trash can,tables and bed. When I told the guy at the desk he stated that the room had been rented out all week and there was no problems, implying that I was not telling the truth and he refused to look at the video or move us. When the manager came in he did offer a 20 voucher for breakfast. I wont be going back there. Not to that location anyway.

The ‘block out’ curtains are faux. They do not actually have a track to run on to cover the window from the HUGE outside spotlights. Slept horribly and can hear everything in the hallway (younger kids running unattended). I will not come back here

Room was large and baron. Lack of seating in a room for 4 there was only a desk chair and a single chair. The walls were long with no artwork and just a small 32 inch TV hanging in the middle of it. Took my grandkids to the pool which wasn’t locked, the pool and hot tub had so much chlorine in them you eyes got burned without getting in the water. The ones that got in their eyes were so red from it told them all to go shower immediately after

I have stayed here several times when visiting Manassas. I come here once a year to visit family and have had very good stays each time. The rooms are clean and well kept and I will come back again
