Mad River Lodge

Cute room & great, easy communication. My kids wouldve preferred a real bed rather than a gout on to share but it worked out fine other than their complaints. Room would be perfect for 3 people. You do have to walk outside to the indoor lobby for. Many rooms but there are coffe, tea and snacks available for purchase for bring food and use the toaster.

Met our family needs just right.

We stopped in Vermont on the way to Quebec City for a party of 5. This is a little gem we found while driving. Since the stay was only for overnight, not much can be said about the surrounding retail/dining places. However the Lodge was easy to find, easy to check in, and easy to checkout (all in the confirmation email that I didn't read). The rooms were small but the living/dining room area was spacious. The dining table was large and we were all able to use computer while some snacked. As a party of 5, the only drawback was having only one mirror in the bathroom. But there were plenty of hooks, a plus! One more recommendation for MRL is to add a light in the shower stall. I imagine little kids using the tub may get a little scared. Overall, our stay was pleasant. Recommend to anyone looking for a place around here.
