Hilton Garden Inn St. George

Not a kid friendly hotel. They have a restaurant, but because the bar is in the restaurant you have to be 21 to eat there. We were traveling with granddaughter who is 8. We were able to order meals, when ready they called me to pick it up.

Overnight stay while traveling back home after vacation visiting family. Hotel first floor carpet was dingy, dirty, and black in areas. The first floor room we were given smelled of urine, we were traveling with our dog. I requested a new room and we were put on the 2nd floor. The room was clean and smelled fresh, much better. Unfortunately the beds were very uncomfortable, springy and hard and the pillows very flat and almost felt like nothing. The hotel did not have assigned dog relief area and there were no pet waste bags outside for use picking up after your pet, which may explain part of the next problem. The hotel except for the very front was surrounded by small pebble rock which seemed like an animal waste litter box. There was poop littered throughout and this is not what I’d expect at a pet hotel. We’ve stayed at many and usually there is a specific pet relief area, sometimes gated with bags and trash to clean up. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was above average.

I thought the stay was great, Staff was so friendly! I stayed because I was able to have my fur babies with me which was great! My only suggestion is, since it is a pet friendly hotel, to have a large sanitized pet area with a place for pet waste. It was hard finding places for them to go, then if I forgot a bag, I would have to go back to my room and back down. Again, I love that it is pet friendly and would stay again, but this pet area would really help! Please please if added though, keep it sanitized so that pets aren't getting sick.
