Baymont by Wyndham Victoria

We were not told until our arrival that the elevator was out of order. We booked 6 rooms for our family and all rooms were on the second floor. We had one elderly couple who could not climb stairs, let alone carry their luggage. Finally they found one room on the first floor. One of the rooms needed a crib and I made the request. We were told you don’t even have cribs. With the regular beds so high up from the floor, it was a big worry the baby would fall off. And if we had known there were no cribs, they would have packed one. Finally, your queen size beds are extremely high. My husband is only 5’4” and I am only 4’10 1/2”. It was terrible for us to get in and out of bed! Baymont will never be our first choice again while visiting Victoria. We traveled for a funeral in our immediate family. This experience made it all much more difficult for everyone! Perhaps you can make amends by crediting us a sizable portion of our bill. Other than that, you will lose our future business along with others who will hear about our experience. I am a very dissatisfied customer. Joanne Martinez

I mean it does what it’s meant for. Besides the elevator not working for. While now. Still choose to stay here. The outside door lock wasn’t working. Having to walk all the way to the other side door. Walk up three flights of stairs. I mean at the end of the day I was able to shower and take my kids a shower and we all slept comfortable.

I didn't like that I didn't have enough towels for our family. They ran out of breakfast early and the person that brought out the food looked like she was mad. The property smelled liked sewer in the lobby and when you got out the elevator.

The absolute worst hotel room I have ever stayed in. Had to be moved from first room because of mold in bathroom only to be put in another room with mold on bathroom ceiling. Dirt everywhere! The top rim of the lamps were covered in dirt and dust. The bottom of our feet were solid black walking on the floors, which we didn't know until know we got in the shower. The sink wouldn't drain properly. The sofa was horribly dirty! I have pictures if you would like them. We have stayed here over the yeats while visiting family, will not do it again.

This was a perfect affordable place to stay for my young family. Breakfast was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. We will be back!

We stayed 1 night. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. the breakfast was nothing really to brag about. I undestand a lot of hotels are still doing grab and go breakfast, but when your kids play sports, you wish there was better options available other than waffles.

Once we got checked in and went our room off the elevator, it smells like water had rotten. It smelled old and mildew. Causing my allergies to start.The smell continued into our room. I sprayed my own personal air freshener because of the wet rotted smell. Upon checkout, no one was at the front desk. I Waited at the front desk for over 5 minutes to check out. So they placed the room keys upon the desk and left. My daughter accidentally made the stain on the bedding, which i knew would come out with bleach. I was not able to inform anyone since no one was at the front desk when I checked out. The manager (i assume) called to ask for a credit card for incidental, due to the fact it was brand new bedding. However her attitude was very rude and inappropriate. I informed her that I would not have the funds until then of the week. She told me that I would get a reminder call before the funds will be processed. once I hung up the phone with her my card was charged anyway for for a 3rd of the amount as the amount. I called her back to inform her she neglected to inform me that it would be charged this moment and could have goven me a "heads-up". For that was the last bit of money I had in my account until I got paid at the end of the week, therefore leaving me in a difficult situation to provide for myself and child. But she continued to have an attitude. Then told me I should have given her a "heads-up" about the stain. I repeat I would have, but no one was at the front desk!
