La Quinta Inn and Suites by Wyndham Houston Spring South

Our room was not cleaned properl y. The microwave was dirty inside and out. The tub had no non-skid mat or bottom. We almost fell. Coffee maker did not work. Dresser drawers would not stay shut. Remote was taped together. TV had no guide. Pool is dirty. No breakfast left at 8:15 but sausage and eggs. My diet won't allow that. Yogart, fruit, waffles, pancakes, anything.! I'm sorry it was so bad because everyone needs their job but if they're NOT doing it,someone else should have that job!

An unexpected last minute change let us bring our kids. Unfortunately I had booked a king bed room. The clerk said nothing else was available, and said even if there was he couldn't make any changes...very odd. I asked about a roll away, he said I don't think we do, without even checking. Thanks a lot guy. The walls were so thin we could hear the neighbor. My wife couldn't sleep because she couldn't decide if the person next door was snoring or it was the TV..sounded like a jet engine or something. If you are traveling alone or just need something quick for the night it's suffice, but don't expect anything from the staff or extra amenities like pillows or blankets.

Laid down to sleep in a pee soaked mattress. The other mattress seemed to be blood stained down the side. The late night staff had us moved to another room in no time. Was not listed that the pool was out of service when we booked and the pool was out of service. Did not enjoy the continental breakfast. Ended up just tossing it after a few bites. Pleasant staff at the front desk. Very accomodating and were quick to offer a refund. Would recommend for a quick overnight business trip but not for bringing family.

Overall good front desk and and room experience. I went with family hoping to enjoy some pool time and sadly pool was out of service and appeared to be out for a long time. Breakfast had poor selection we had to go out to eat.

Hole in green scape beside my parking spot from a malfunctioning sprinkler system. Nearly stepped in the hole & that would have been an unnecessary injury & a mess My room tv, land-line phone & alarm did not work at all. I reported this in person (remember the phone didn’t work) to the registration clerk about 2300hrs. I asked for repairs, replacement or refund. I’ve received nothing. LaQuinta mgr states EXPEDIA will issue full refund. I’ll waiting. The room was clean, bed was comfortable & I rested as well as I could; as the nature of my travel was already very emotional (family member health issues). The staff was polite & appeared concerned; but offered no resolution I slept through breakfast, but did notice the housekeeping staff had the great room clean & tidy.

My check in was smooth as I stay here at least three times sometimes a month just to relax. Upon going to my room after being with family my key didn’t work. I waited almost 20 minutes for someone to even come to the front only to see the guy working was in his car smoking and didn’t even know I was standing there. Then he asked for all of my info even after telling him my key didn’t work and I was already checked in. I had to go downstairs three times as whatever he was doing was not working on my key. Every time I went back downstairs I had to find him. He was never at the front desk!!! Overnight shift workers there are the absolute worst and I stay there too much to be treated as such. It makes me not want to go back and find a new hotel.

The site offered area shuttle and when we got there they said they didnt offer that that was the only reason i booked pool closed and the receptionist was never there me and three other customers had to wait while she bullsh*t around Offered breakfast no juice no syrup spoiled milk crusty stale bread Im mostly upset about the area shuttle take that off ur site bc u aint even got a van or a driver this just like my kids school bus never a ride alway lies My guy got swim trunks and the pool was closed card deactivating every time we leave dont get me on the sketchy wifi

I used to leave in Conroe and though it will be a nice place to stay with my family considering the area and the location but it was a bad experience. Even is a smoking free hotel, people were smoking weed all around. If you stayed two nights and three days you expected that someone at least take out the trash and put a soap but unfortunately it did not happen.

Very nice location and pretty rooms and bathrooms. I would’ve gave this hotel 4 stars but me and my bf saw baby roaches in our bathroom 3 different times within our first day of our stay. Didn’t care too much for that.

I would not recommend anyone staying here. Hotel had a horrible smell of cigarettes throughout the lobby. Sheets and pillow smelled awful. We are a family of 4 and only got 3 towels for 3 nights. Breakfast was mediocre.
