Courtyard Killeen Marriott

We were there to visit the family. We were kept up alot because we were on the fifth floor facing the traffic. We had no idea it would be that noisy. We had stayed at this hotel a few times and always had a quite room. Next stay we would like a quite room.

It was a nice hotel. Unfortunately, we were only able to stay one night; my daughter was sick and my grandson's family were down w Covid. Two suggestions: 1) I was in a handicapped room. The shower curtain in the bathroom was too short; water leaked out from the shower into the rest of the bathroom. Need a longer curtain. 2) I like to read. The lighting in the room at both the desk and next to the bed were inadequate for easy reading. WJM

I've stayed in every decent hotel in the Killeen Temple area, and the Courtyard is one of the best. In general, the entire stay was great. On Friday night, May 12, we chose to have the family bring burgers over to eat from a local burger joint. We sat in the food service area of the hotel without realizing it was intended for the Bistro/Bar. The gentleman who was working the front was extremely kind and came over to our table and offered us utensils, and cleaned up after us. This was above and beyond the call of duty. What a great employee you have. I can't remember his name, but his kindness was appreciated, and we were sure to let him know.

The service was ok but the bed was uncomfortable and we went to eat breakfast at 9:00 it was over and we went back to the room and the card would not let me in to get my luggage so I had to go back down to the lobby to get another card. I did not sleep good. I was coming home to attend the funeral of my cousin and see my family so it was not a good experience.

We have stayed in this hotel before. Which is why we rebooked for a stay here again. On the POSITIVE: very clean and comfortable hotel. However, this time upon checking in and carrying all the luggage up to the room… The key did not work. Had to go back downstairs to get a new key. Once in the room, had to change quickly for a family event. Upon returning in the evening, realized that the television was not working. Called the front desk and they sent up a maintenance person. The maintenance person attempted to make the TV work (doing the exact same thing that I was doing before he came), but he could not make it work. The maintenance man said that the cable service on the floor that I was on was out in multiple rooms. [If they know this… Why are they putting people in these rooms to stay overnight? Fix the problem before putting your customers in the rooms]. The maintenance man said he was gonna go try a new remote and then he said, “let me go check some thing and I will be back”… The Maintenance Man never returned. The TV never worked the entire night. For the amount of money that you pay for a stay at a hotel… You would expect the television to work.
