Best Western Plus Killeen/Fort Hood Hotel & Suites

My family and I recently stayed at this hotel, and while the staff were very friendly, the room itself was disappointing. From the moment we entered, there was a strong smell of wet dog and smoke, which made it hard to feel comfortable. The floors were dirty and stained, and the restroom had holes in the wall, adding to the overall sense of neglect. The room was also uncomfortably hot, which made it difficult to relax. To make matters worse, we discovered roaches in the room, which was unacceptable. I expected a much cleaner space, especially considering how deceiving the pictures online were. While the staff were great, the room’s condition was a dealbreaker for me. Hopefully, management will address these issues moving forward.

Not our best hotel experience.Travelling with 3 grandkids and just got everything unpacked, only to find toilet didn't work, phone did not work, and had to move everything to another room....ice machine on another floor and elevator wouldn't work. Won't stay here again.

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Its is located near lots of restaurants and places to shop Plus it's easy on and off the highway. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was amazing, the menu has something for everyone unlike most places that only serve cereal, fruit and milk. This one of the best hotels we've stayed at. We will definitely recommend it to our family and friends when they are in the area.

We stayed three nights while visiting family and enjoyed the time at Best Western. At first I thought the bed was too firm but soon realized that ours at home is probably too soft. My husband had breakfast every morning and said that as long as you went early it was adequate. I do have to say that the pod coffee pot is a wonderful improvement. We will be staying here again on our next visit. Thanks!

Mrs Kia was super nice. We were greeted with I wonderful smile. Even my kids liked her very much. She was just so amazingly nice.

The stay was okay. It was nice to have these amenities and all. However I didn’t like that there was a curfew or a incident fee because my flight was cancelled and I had no means of transportation to the hotel from Dallas. I can’t control flights and when they take off but im getting charged a fee is ridiculous. The curfew doesn’t not make sense because what if I want to get late dinner or I’m coming back from a long drive? Each guest is an adult so we should be trusted with our time management and not be treated like children with a given curfew.

There were multiple juice stains on the carpet in my room, it needed to be replaced, also I found pennies at various locations on the floor suggesting that the floor hadn't been properly vacuumed. Secondly, military and their families stay there frequently, I had kids ripping and running, thumping and bumping over my head all day during waking hours. These things didn't particularly bother ME, but they might bother someone else.

This was a repeat visit for us. We enjoyed our stay last year while visiting family at Fort Hood, so we decided to stay here again. We weren't disappointed. The room was clean and comfortable. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our grandsons had a great time in the pool. We will probably stay here next time we are in the area.

We were assigned a room that hadn’t been cleaned yet but they were quick to give us another room even though it wasn’t close to the rest of us. The mattress was extra firm which some of the family liked, others did not. Overall it was a nice place with nice people working there.

My family and I stay at this hotel a lot and we enjoy the experience Everytime. Staff is very helpful, clean hotel, and nice pool.
