Comfort Suites at Katy Mills

Horrible customer service from evening/overnight employee. If I was running the place she would have been fired last week. Side entrances around 12am were open without key access if safety is your priority. Room was clean (bed/restroom) but floors were dirty. The morning employee made up for it and was very polite. Noticed that A/C wasn’t the coldest but experienced another room from a family member and it was colder. Overall it’s a decent hotel for the price.

The concierge upon arriving was extremely rude especially in front of my kid, and the remote to the tv looked as if it had never been cleaned since bought for the hotel, had dried up food etc in the crevices I refused to touch it. Shower was dirty, fitness room was hot.

A good stay overall. One night unfortunately there was a very rowdy family with 4 kids up late and loud in the halls. No fault of hotel. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of clean towels and good location.

Our stay was to visit family so we didn’t spend much time in the room.

I called the property if I can check-in 2 hours early but she asked for $35 for early check-in. I don't want pay additional fees and arrive at the hotel daring the regular check-in time. The front desk staff gave me a room whose AC was not working. I realized that after a couple of hours since room was not getting cold. Then I informed the front desk and he ( this time front desk staff was a different person) gave me another room. I appreciate his help and prompt response. Staffs are friendly and seems helpful. Property location is very convenient. Walmart and other stores are in a short distance. I saw people drinking and smoking around 10 pm at the entrance sitting on a beach in front of the hotel entrance. I didn't feel comfortable since I was staying with my family. I found weed smell in the elevator, which is uncomfortable as well. Overall, it's ok. I would not bother staying there just by myself. But I wouldn't go back there with my family to say.

They didn't tell u u have to baby a 100$ deposit Incase someone smokes or mess up the room also the girl gave us a room where someone else was staying in for 2 yrs !!!!

Staff and service were great, room was clean, hotel was full and they accommodated us to be in a more quiet room (top floor, at the end). It is a bit hard to find, in Walmart back lot, and a very sketchy area. My son, who lives at nearby Fulshear, told us not to go out after dark in that area. They did allow my son and his kids to visit us and swim in their pool. It was fine.
