Hampton Inn & Suites Port Arthur

Came down to visit new grand babies and our stay at the hotel was awesome! Clean and quiet. Breakfast was great also!

Manager Niel Patel was not accommodating at all pertaining to moving my hotel room to the first floor due to elevator not working. Would not discount or provide my family with anything other than it’s not their problem and that I booked through Expedia. I informed them of spraining my knee a few days earlier and that I could not walk up flights of stairs,but they put me on the third floor,their highest floor,anyway. I asked if I could cancel the room because of the elevator,but they said I would be charged for one night regardless. I tried to work it out with a front staff person but she just gave me the Hilton corporate number and said to call them. As a result,I will have to got to urgent care to check out my sprained knee. Very unprofessional as I stay at this hotel often when I come to Port Arthur. I will not be spending any money with this hotel again after this very unprofessional and horrible experience. I will tell my friends and family as well.

This was the first time to stay there. Went for a family wedding. The hotel was great and nothing to complain about at all.

I am so Grateful for this Hotel! I will be coming back! They were able to accommodate my family and I in a room when my check in was a little later! They had great attitude about it! Loved this place! Thank you so much!
