Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Port Arthur

I stay there just about every weekend this is the second time that I have walked outside to go to my vehicle to get something to eat and have a parking lot full of cops upon me leaving this morning there was a young lady sitting outside of a door of a room she looks like she slept out there all night there's a lot of kids that seem to hang out there on the weekends felt very uncomfortable and unsafe the last time I said I was told that this was not something that goes on all the time but it seems to me like it is

Overall stay was ok except for the people in the room above me kids ran and played all day n night the was up before me and still running n playing

Checked in on Wednesday was down at the front desk every night asking for clean towels and rags because everytime they "cleaned" the room they left rags with hair in them in the bathroom. Sheets also upon arrival found hair in them and had to remake my own bed because "housekeeping was gone for the day" had to do that twice. And our last night staying there came in with family from a long day at the beach walked into our room to find that nobody had cleaned up. Made beds or changed towels or did anything for that matter. Went down to front desk to talk to them and told them how my stay has been and that I wasnt going to pay for that night and all they had to say was "ok well you can go ahead and check out" but it was 8:00pm my family had nowhere to go so we sucked it up and stayed our one last night. They gave me some new towels and rags that also after checking still had pubic hairs in them and I went back up to my room and checked out the next morning. Upon checking my bank account the next day they had already taken out the total of the four night stay so if I had checked out the night before they still took out the four nights. Needless to say I will never be staying at a Days Inn or any Wyndham run hotel ever again.

I was really impressed on how spacious the room was, and all of the nice features and amenities that came with the room as well a pullout sofa, couch, and ottoman a small table that acted as a dinner table for my family whenever we ate, and the room was very clean, very well lit And just had a really good vibe and the location was prime. It was surrounded by pretty much any food option you wanted shopping options were there and it was quick access to any of that I would highly recommend this location. My only real issue was that our room while awesome was Directly across from the highway so it was fairly loud but nothing some earplugs or AirPods can’t fix again not really ideal but hey, that’s really not a knock on the hotel. That was just the way the cookie crumbled as far as high noise and position of the room but what I do it again oh yeah, that will definitely be the place I stay if I ever go back to Port Arthur.

Upon our arrival for check in, Star made everything so smooth and easy. She informed us about breakfast and even told us some places that were near by to do things with the kids.

Room was clean and nice. Saturday night clerk was absolutely rude. (race issue) There was young kids having a party with alcohol and drug use and nothing was done. Two young ladies were providing some "service" and then picked up by a blue van with red door. Prostitution?
