Cockroach size of a thumb in bathroom. Rooms are old. Beds sinking. Not worth the $178 I paid to stay at this dump. Pool area is old and ran down. My kid got scratches on his chin and shoulder from the rough concrete under the water. Breakfast was good.

The property location was great, but this property has not been properly maintained and it is time to update the the rooms. Also, we experienced alot of noise from the room above us nightly and it was hard to rest. We contacted the front desk and I'm assuming they contacted the other guest, so the noise was down for the first night, but every night we experienced kids jumping up and down. So we didn't get much rest and on our trip. We were up visiting ailing family and it would have been nice to have the elevator and ice machine working. We chose this facility oppose to our usual and based on the brand we look for better. Just time to update the units furniture and bedding. Also, need to improve the lighting around the facility due to duck off view of the hotel.

The hotel was more pricey than others nearby but had a working hot tub and that’s what we wanted. Found the facility was older and in need of renovation. There was a sign saying they are working on it but there was no evidence of it. Our second night of three presented a family in the room above us using it as a jungle gym…literally! No sleep until after 11 p.m. Early in the morning (we were there to get away and rest) it started again…constantly! We had called the front desk twice the night before but there was nothing they could do. The next day, the manager found another room for us to move to. It was of the same condition as the one before, but heavenly quiet! So, we were safe, sone tired, but staff were fabulous, just not the facility.

I booked this hotel especially for the breakfast and the pool. Both were a disappointment. When I arrived they said there was no hot breakfast and when we got in the pool it was absolutely freezing cold and the hot tub was not even warm. The shower in our room did not even come on so my kids had to was their hair in the bathtub, not an easy task. I will not stay here again. Very disappointed.

When I arrived my rooms were not ready 90 mins after check in time, there’s construction being done on the property so the elevator is covered in paper and some places are closed off. The bathrooms need to be updated and the beds are not safe at all. My children legs were scratched up due to metal pieces extended from each sides of beds. I don’t understand the purpose of that. The pool was filled with bugs and really dirty. I will not be staying at this location again. Not worth $130!

The hotel room wasn’t bad, but we got woken up at midnight by a fire alarm with no idea what was going on. We had a newborn with us and I’m currently 7 months pregnant. I tried calling the front desk and nobody answered. I went downstairs and there was no staff to be found to tell us what was going on. After being down there for 20 minutes, there was finally somebody behind the desk and a guest went to go ask what was happening and they said it was a false alarm. It would have nice to have been given updates regarding what was going on and why it was happening. The staff just sat behind the desk while all their guests were outside in the parking lot. It kept going on, on and off, for about another 10 minutes after that too.

I’ve stayed there at least a dozen times visiting family in the Sherman area. It’s time to change to a better hotel on my next visit and beyond. I’ve seen it over many stays in the last several years, they have let this property run down beyond belief. Filthy, broken appliances in the bathroom and room, just declined and in disrepair. Time for a change.

The stay was good my family and enjoyed the room, but the best part was the breakfast. They had a great variety of choices. We loved it and saved the trip to ihop because the hotel had it all.
